Blurred Lines returns to the @collingwood_basement on Friday May 1st inviting Bex B2B Billus for an extended session (4+ hours). Bex wears many hats, one half of the legendary party and record label Spincycle Records alongside Terri, the mind behind Spacecast, a non-profit platform connecting musicians and artists across events, activations, and online spaces; and a true mainstay of the local scene. Without a doubt, she’s one of the finest selectors around, with a rare ability to transport dancers into another dimensions through her sets piecing together all things deep, minimal and wonky from the golden era. Billus, the man behind Bath Time, with a cult following in the local scene. Billus is known for his deep and delicate selections, moving people seamlessly through morning, day, and night at his own pace. One of the scene’s best selectors, he’s also been making waves in recent years as a producer, with releases on Animalia, Spincycle, and most recently, Vessel. Bex is a veteran when it comes to digging the crates, with a deep affinity for 90s and early 2000s tech house and minimal. Her commitment to the sound has seen her play alongside artists such as DJ Masda, Onur Özer, Sugar Free, Eversines, Binh, Ingi Visions, Junki Inoue, Unai Trotti, and more.
