Fashion, music, poetry, film, design, photography – all creative disciplines are welcome. Far from being only black and yellow honeybees, wild bees come in so many different types. Similarly, we’d love to see a variety of perspectives for this Earth Partner Spotlight!
With #WorldBeeDay coming up, be creative and share your artwork for a chance to be featured on the @artpartner , @earthpartner and @beewild.campaign feeds. Inspiration can come from the colours of wild bees, pollinator corridors in urban areas, and many more.

Jamie – Eagle Eyed Girl gently helps this exhausted buff-tailed bumblebee queen after finding her low on energy. After a little honey to give her a boost, she begins to recover and get back to bee-ing herself.
Buff-tailed bumblebee queens are among the first bees active in spring, working hard to feed themselves while searching for nest sites to start brand new colonies. Supporting a struggling queen at this stage can help the next generation of pollinators thrive.

Did you know a bee’s jaws are strong enough to dig into hard soil to build a nest? 🐝
n the Maasai Mara in Kenya, Jamie discovered a tiny but impressive engineer at work — a solitary bee nest hole hidden in the hard African soil. Jamie – Eagle Eyed Girl explains how these remarkable bees use their incredibly powerful jaws to dig tunnels into the ground, creating chambers where they lay their eggs. Despite their small size, solitary bees are strong enough to carve into compacted earth, carefully building and sealing each nest to protect the next generation. A fascinating glimpse into the hidden world beneath our feet and the strength of one of nature’s smallest pollinators. 🐝🌍

But not everything we do for bees needs to be so epic! Planting wildflowers and bee friendly plants is a great thing that you can do in your neighbourhood.
