Day 69 brought an unexpected pause to the world tour!
Flash flood warnings rolled in and temporarily stopped our skate across the U.S. — but after weeks in Texas, we officially crossed into Louisiana 🐝
Certain members of the Bee Team have already had their fair share of crawfish boils, roadside kindness, and some seriously unforgettable southern hospitality. Grateful for every mile, every storm passed, and every person cheering this mission on along the way.

SEVERE WEATHER IN LOUISIANA
I was "Saved by the Lighting" as I was just about to leave then some wild lighting and thunder came through. I thought I'd wait out the bad thunder and then it just go worse. The rain became torrential and the storm only got worse. We got severe weather warnings on our phones.
We are safe in Baton Rouge and we've battened the hatches in the support vehicle and are taking the day to escape the weather! For the bees, baby!
Month Number Two in the BOOKS. Wild how fast time is flying.
This month posed the hardest two weeks of skating I've ever encountered. West Texas almost destroyed my soul because of the conditions of the roads... Bumpy, slow, and not meant for rollerblading but for big trucks. It was like rollerblading on glued gravel.
But Kelly Clarkson did say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and I have come into May confident that this next month will be a huge one.
