⭐️NEW LAUNCH⭐️ Meet the dream team founders of @equals.even : Twin sisters Helen and Kathryn (both local doctors and parents🙌🏻) who are so incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about all things skincare - especially when it comes to teens❤️. The idea for their brand was born over their 20 years in practice. Seeing increasing numbers of teenagers and young adults struggling with breakouts in their Somerset clinics and feeling a frustration that so many were using inappropriate (and sometimes damaging) products designed for adult skin - or often simply doing nothing because they didn’t know where to start. They set about creating their own range: a simple four-step system of gentle, science-backed formulas made specifically for teen skin. With its colourful striped packing @equals.even looks right off the Selfridges beauty hall shelves (so your teen will actually be excited to use it😉), but the no-nonsense formulations are doctor-led and utilise the most hardworking ingredients - think Hyaluronic acid, Allantoin and Ceramides - but in age-appropriate doses that you can trust. “Developing skin is physiologically different, more oil, more reactive, still maturing. Using products designed for 30-year-olds can do more harm than good” explains Dr. Kathryn. “Early, gentle intervention prevents long-term scarring, both physical and emotional,” adds Dr. Helen. “Starting a simple routine at the first signs of breakouts makes a huge difference.” We are so thrilled to be cheerleading this brilliant, made-by-mothers, local brand and the team have given us a 20% code BATHMUMS to share with you ~ i’ll pop the website link on my stories and IG bio too for easy finding. O and if you have a pal whose teen might like to try @equals.even do tag them in the comments🤘🏻. [ad]

⭐️FREE DAY PASSES ⭐️Those kind souls @gatherround_co have treated us to a big bundle of day passes for this May 🙌🏻. If you’re new to this gem: @gatherround_co is beautiful co-working space, for people who work in the creative & tech industries, set within a reimagined church space just off Queen Square (they have another space in Bristol too🤘🏻). Their Bath community opened a year ago and for me it’s been a total, joyful game changer work-wise; it’s such an inspiring space (as you can see the interiors are ✨) plus it runs like clockwork with super-fast wifi, easy-to-book meeting rooms, sound booths for private convos and a swish open plan kitchen. They also offer heaps of events like their monthly members breakfasts. They’ve given us a bundle of free day passes so any newbies amongst us can sample its delights for the day. You just need to go to the link on my IG bio or stories and book in a tour - the @gatherround_co team will then email you with a list of days you can use your day pass on between now and the end of May. Simply use the code GRDAYPASS2026 And tag a pal who you think will love this place too. PS there are a decent but limited number of these day passes so don’t dally if you wish to snaffle one and try out @gatherround_co (you’ll need to fit the criteria and work in the creative or tech industries and the offer is valid for their Bristol outpost too if that’s more your neighbourhood🎯). If you decide to join memberships start at £180 a month and you can choose from having a fixed desk or flexi working (aka desk hopping). Hope to see you there 🙌🏻

[ad]🌿SPOTLIGHT ON KINGSWOOD PREP SCHOOL🌿We couldn’t have picked a prettier day for a behind-the-scenes-tour of the Prep @kingswoodschool last summer🌞. Set within a glorious 120‑acre estate the almost 300-year-old school has a long-held reputation as one of the South West’s very best. The Prep school takes children from 9 months up to age 11, after which they move up to the senior school on the same site: so the whole place truly does feel like one big family. I was really looking forward to surprising some of my favourite little faces as lots of my pals send their kids here (and ❤️ it!). Swipe through to see a few of their faves from Darwin the science department tortoise, to much-loved teacher Mrs Hyslop, to the secret garden forest school area - where a gaggle of Y2s were living their absolute best lives just digging an enormous mud pit!🙌🏻 Our tour stopped-in on a team of Y5 kids immersed in building racing cars; a dress rehearsal for the summer show (this year they will perform Beauty and the Beast in the 360-seat theatre); and I got all the goss on the way round from my brilliant little tour guides who were raving about cheerleading club and fun STEM robotics lessons. In a nutshell this welcoming, warm-hearted school ticks all the boxes. Students consistently notch-up those top grades (last summer’s GCSE results were the best in Bath and A Levels awarded were at 78% A*-B grade). So it’s little surprise that they are always so oversubscribed. Their mission goes way beyond academics and is really to nurture each child’s individual spark and passion. The inspirational Headmaster Mr Mark Breary still loves to meet every prospective family. This knowledge of each child and their excellent foundation is why from September, they are removing entrance exams for current students moving from Y6 into the senior school. So for prep students the transition to ‘big school” will be seamless. If you think Kingswood Prep might be the perfect fit for your child contact them directly about touring the school. Do you have a child at Kingswood? We would love to hear all about your experience in the comments ⤵️

✨NEW OPENING ✨Such a treat to visit the revamped and reopened @thebradleyhare which has been closed for a @beckford.group makeover since the group took it over a few months back (these are the folks who own @beckfordbottleshop / @thetalbotinn / @batharmsinn / @beckfordcanteen btw so you know you’re in for a treat when they open-doors on a new eat spot). They’ve absolutely put their stylish stamp all over the space. Firstly it feels impecabley cosy (candles on all the tables & fires chugging away in the hearths) and the interiors are 👌🏻, lunch was spot on from start to finish: i was particularly smitten with my curry laced fish pie, the excellent non m-spenny house red (these guys always nail the wine list🎯) and an amazing blood 🍊cheese cake that everyone at the table stole hunks from. They also have a dozen bedrooms for over nighters which have had a similarly enticing do-over and there’s a fab garden wrapped round one side which was obvs rain-a-saurus when we went but will be absolutely heaven in summer🌞. PS It’s about 35 mins drive from Bath and there are heaps of fab walks nearby (our fave is Cley Hill), it’s dog-friendly and i’d make a reso if you are heading over but they also have a sung area with a big wood burning stove which is no reservations for bar snacks & drinks (and always has all the Sunday papers🤘🏻). SO! Which if your favourite people are you gonna tag to say when are we going here for lunch!👅🙌🏻 [pr/invite]

✨DORSET ROAD TRIP✨We just got back from SUCH a fun two-night trip to @snowsbarndorset ✨. This gorgeous three-bed coverted barn is part of a foodie gem B&B @allhallowsfarmhouse - the dreamboat owner Lisa does cookery classes and serves up breakfast in the candle-lit dinning room. She’s also mad for snowdrops (me too!) so the garden is full of them at this time of year🙌🏻. The spec of the barn is 👌🏻. Think @bramleyproducts beside the 🛁, voluminous comfy beds, the swishest open-plan kitchen and the most scrumptious homemade scones on arrival 👅. You’re on the edge of super-pretty Wimborne St Giles (which has the famously clear River Allen chalk stream running through). This gem-filled part of Dorset is just mins from Bath and has SO much to do. Our highlights below (but do say what i’ve missed!) 1/Wimborne. A fab market town 20 mins drive away. The kids spent ages in @museum_of_east_dorset which is super interactive & family friendly. Look out for the vinegar valentines cards and a spooky mummified 🐈 ! We absolutely loved shopping @deans_court (their cafe has a fab suntrap garden too). Also great for coffee is @sondercoffeewimborne 🎯 2/Shaftesbury. This iconic town (home to that o so instagramable Gold Hill from the Hovis advert) is only 30 mins away we got a bit carried away in @thebotanicalcandleco (two floors of lush homeware) loved @thekitchentabledorset for chic chef purchases and @foldedorset for nature-focused books and crafts. A short drive away is @sorelle_dorset for outdoor vibes and delicious lunches. 3/Kingston Lacy & Pamphill. Just 15 mins away head to @ntkingstonlacy for the usual winning National Trust cafe/garden/house combo. Pamphill woodlands nearby is magical in Bluebell season (April/May) 🪻🪻. 4/Studland Bay. A little further afield (50 mins) but this glorious nature reserve and beach is worth the effort if your gang want a 🌊 day. Hello to four miles of unspoiled sandy beaches. You can also combo with @ntcorfecastle 🏰 PS We were staying as guests of @snowsbarndorset 🙏🏼. If you book your 2026 stay before 30 March (mention Bath Mums📣) you’ll receive a 10% discount on all three-night reservations.  [INVITE]
