We had a swarm of very docile friendly bees at the farm yesterday. Fascinating to see them protecting their queen and looking for a new home. Many thanks to Stuart from Bath Beekeepers who came out and collected them to go to a new Beekeeper.

Last week Crescent Club members gathered at @bathbrewhouse for our first Beer & Cheese night with @bathsoftcheese and it did not disappoint.
The room was full, the pours were generous and the pairings were spot on, guided by Martin Peers from Bath Soft Chees Co and Max Cadman, Head Brewer.
From a classic 3.8% bitter to a punchy 6.6% New England IPA and a passionfruit sour that definitely split opinion, there was plenty to talk about.
The cheeses were just as good, all made with milk from Padfields Farm near Kelston, ranging from traditional farmhouse styles to a bold blue. Safe to say not much was left by the end!
Great company, great flavours and a really fun evening all round. Let’s hope it’s the first of many 🍺🧀🙌
