A couple of weeks ago I accompanied @balo.project for a gig at the glorious @pan_pan_______ doing some live drawing projections!! Here’s a few snips of the performance for ya 🎥🎥🎥
Drawing live for about an hour made me feel a lil bit vulnerable but there were some really embodied moments and some lovely compositions that came out of it… and an embarrassing technical hitch ha! 🤡

balo are Sheffield based duo Manon McCoy (harp/electronics) and Will Shaw (drums/electronics). They create site-specific sound installations for interesting spaces. Their sound is a dynamic balance of driving rhythmic phrasing, ambient textures, intricate prepared techniques and experimental electronic layers.
Rosie Tee (duo) forges an innovative, atmospheric blend of electronica, psych and avant-pop amongst the industrial backdrop of the UK’s second city, Birmingham. Her work spans explorative songwriting, immersive sound-design and writing for large-scale ensembles.

SATURDAY 28th OCT - SHEFFIELD
We will be performing inside the incredible Heartspace at the University of Sheffield, a vast glass atrium space between the engineering buildings. We are joined this time by our friends @whaledetective 🌊
We are working in collaboration with live-sound engineer Emma Lambert in building an installation reimagining and exploring the space!
