Joining us on the 30th May at Pan-Pan is Birmingham selector, curator and Artum co-founder Jayson Wynters, returning from his sublime set at our event back in March.
A deeply respected figure within the local and wider underground scene, Jayson has spent years building a reputation for depth, versatility and an uncompromising approach to sound - qualities that naturally carry through into the records he brings with him.
Expect a carefully curated, hand-picked selection from the wider Artum collection, built over many years and spanning deep house, techno and the far reaches of the electronic spectrum.
We’re very happy to have Jayson rejoining us at the end of the month - this time behind the racks, providing you with his record selections.

Created by Luna Maurer and Roel Wouters, the project asks:
what happens if intelligence learns from physical matter instead of human data?
The “soup” has been trained on thousands of clips of objects:
breaking.
rolling.
floating.
sinking.
falling apart.
And now you can feed it.
Throw something.
Smash something.
Film it in high speed.

At the end of March, we brought Fair Electronica to Pan-Pan for the first time - including our debut party - and it proved to be the perfect fit.
As such, we’re very happy to announce that we’ll be returning to the space on May 30th for one more fair and party before the summer.
This time round we have two new exciting sellers and we our very happy to be inviting DeepSystems record dealer and cornerstone of the underground, Matt Pond, to headline the party alongside residents Lewis Oxley and Matt Jones. Expect our signature deep sound.
We are pushing things further with the sound and visuals this time round, so expect to be in for a real treat! As always, local djs will be providing the sonics during the day.

The event will feature both live electronic music - crafted around Maude’s new Medicinal Properties EP - and Erbium leaning DJ sets (w/ @dadenii_dj x @jaycarderdj ), with opportunities to share production tips and speak to our performers.
Headliner Maude (aka @the_sound_sculptress ) has even been featured in the likes of DJ Mag, Beatportal, and Perfect Circuit; recognised for their craft as a producer and dedication to uplifting FLINTA and LGBTQ+ artists through carefully curated workshops and community-style events 💕🪽
