Even though I knew this was coming, nothing can really prepare you for loosing a dog. Buddy had been suffering with cancer for the last few months, even though it was a very late diagnosis. Yesterday he left me after a very rough few days. He's now at peace in a better place. I adopted him in 2018, a reactive dog with separation anxiety. In all that time we've only spent 1 day apart. We went through so much together, he never left my side. Im heartbroken. Thanks to anyone who has sent kind messages, I really appreciate it.

Happy birthday to my dear old dog Buddy who is 10 today. He's been very poorly the last 4 weeks with a very nasty prostate infection, meaning hes incontinent. So its cleaning up dog pee and washing his bedding 3 times a day.. its been exhausting for both of us. He is showing some signs of improvement though and is on a load of medication which seems to be helping a bit. Thankfully Buddy has always been insured so the 2.5 grands worth of vets bills have been taken care of. Hopefully he'll make a full recovery. Happy birthday you trooper x
