I can't thank everyone enough for making our
@tightandnerdymovie premier (in person and online) one of the most amazing experiences of our lives. The feedback and well-wishes have been overwhelming. And I'm adding in our
@sf_sketchfest show too just 2 weeks prior. Some of you came to both! We owe you some kind of badge made out of baloney or something. Unfortunately, I didn't get to talk to or thank everyone for coming in person so here's my lame attempt to remedy that. š¤
I also want to thank the journalists who got the word out about the film - unsung heroes Joe Kukura,
@rodzilllllla ,
@zackruskin ,
@davidamwilensky ,
@brokeassstuart , and others.
The world is so fucked up right now. Reading the news has become surreal. We're all panicked, having nightmares, feeling powerless. If what we're all doing with
@alfredyankovic 's music, defiant nudity, film cameras and editing software (
@candacekregg !), and our comedic sensibilities can give anyone a moment's peace and time to reflect on what makes life worth living, then we've done our jobs.
We all have the power to connect and create in infinite ways. As a different Al once said (roughly), there is no part of you that is not of the Gods.
PS: 3 more festivals coming up - Omaha, Beloit, and Lake County. Midwest FTW.
