ASSMR VOL 08 welcomes one of our own for her very first time. Get ready for sisifoss @stinefossatan stepping in. 25/04 sisifoss (she/her) is a Copenhagen-based DJ, emerging from years on the dancefloor. From front-left speaker devotion to stepping into the booth, she carries a deep connection to movement, energy and collective release. Her sound leans into fast, seductive rhythms — built to pull you in, soften your edges and keep you there. Approaching DJing with a playful and exploratory mindset, sisifoss is still in the process of defining her own way. Her sets unfold intuitively, guided by the room as much as by her own instincts — a space where curiosity, tension and release can coexist. Rooted in queer and FLINTA spaces, and as part of ASSMR, she sees the dancefloor as shared ground — for connection, expression and becoming. For sisifoss, music has always been a way to move closer to herself, and now, to others. Dark, driving, uncompromising. Saroor enters ASSMR VOL 08. 25/04 Revered for her exploration of the dark, percussive and groovy, Saroor is a Sudanese-British DJ whose sound is shaped on the realms of techno and psytrance. From a classically trained music background playing the cello in her formative years, and being an avid multi-genre enthusiast, her music journey began with an appreciation for complex rhythms and tonalities, delivering her to exploring London’s Psytrance scene, with a particular affinity to the sounds of dark and progressive psy, forest and psy-techno. This led to her securing her first residency at the illustrious psy/ techno party SLIVER. She holds notable performances at Fold, Unfold, Riposte, SLIVER, Pinhole as well as esteemed venues such as Colour Factory, and Corsica Studios. Saroor has also showcased her sound on Rinse FM, Voices radio and many others. ASSMR VOL 08 invites back our resident babsko @_babsko_ to tell a story in real time. 25.04.2026 babsko is a Polish artist who builds her sets as stories — not planned in advance, but written in the moment. Using breaks, deep and hypnotic techno, trance and bass as tools, these stories grow from thoughts and feelings she is moving through, shaped by the push and pull between herself and the energy of the people around her. The layers drift, collide, and slowly lock into place. Alongside playing, she is currently part of the Copenhagen-based ASSMR, and previously co-ran the trance-techno collective MUDDER. She is particularly interested in music as a language — a way of communicating without words. This is something she explores through her deep listening sessions, Echoes, where participants meet monthly to choose individual tracks around a shared theme and reflect on the thoughts, sensations and emotions they bring up. To expand beyond the booth we invite Carla Viola Thurøe for ASSMR VOL 08 on 25.04.2026 Carla Viola Thurøe is a Danish actress and performing artist. She works with song, melody, body, and text intuitively, physically, and playfully within the tension field between theatre and performance art. Carla’s practice revolves around existential themes such as nature, love, pain, lust and identity. She explores and challenge all the strange man-made systems that distance us from ourselves and from one another. “We are in the midst of a collapse that has disconnected us from nature and the body”, says Carla about what motivates her artistically.  Carla Viola Thurøe has graduated from the Danish National School of Performing Arts in 2022 and since completing her education, she has worked on numerous large and small theatre stages across the country and in film, and television series. We welcome the unstoppable force Mohajer @melindamohajer for ASSMR VOL 08 on 25.04.2026 Mohajer doesn’t just read the room, she galvanizes it. Playful, yet potent, freaky and flirtatious, her eclectic sound is bound by flavour, not genre - powered by trippy grooves, punchy vocals, and the percussive pulse of her Persian roots. Born and raised in Gothenburg, Mohajer cut her teeth as a punk bassist before flipping the script as a DJ and promoter in Sweden’s underground scene. Since relocating to Berlin in 2013, she’s carved out her place in the city’s sonic ecosystem - fusing livewire energy with sapphic euphoria as co-founder and resident of intimate party, mp3. As a producer, Mohajer picks no lane - she careens between slick, slippery trance rhythms, bouncy percussive basslines, and jagged industrial elements with instinct and intent. Her forthcoming EP on Spray’s Punctuality Records twists that palette into something bold and elastic: a confident cascade of mystique, mayhem and sensuality. With multiple appearances at Panorama Bar, Berghain, RSO, and Tresor - plus international sets at Bassiani, FOLD, and Basement - Mohajer continues to hold space for rave’s queer roots and future possibilities. Alright babes. We did it FOR REAL. 1 year of all that was ASSMR wrapped. The way you all showed up this year has been wiiiiild 🥵 The amount of dancefloor love, energy being exchanged and care for each other has been genuinely beautiful to witness. It's exactly this kind of connection with self and others that reminds us why we started doing this. Over the past twelve months, we've created something truly special. Building on the legacy of Copenhagen's techno, electronic and performance art scene, we've grown one of the best dancefloors that any of us has ever been a part of. Thank you. And a huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers, thank you to the DJs, performers, and other artists involved in driving the vision then showing up and dancing your cute juicy asses off. And to everyone else that's shown up early or stayed late.. or just shown us some love in general.. thank you. From here, we have another even wilder year ahead of us with amazing lineups and collaborations in the works. Allllll that being said we will be taking a little well deserved break and will resume our "VOL" parties in April of next year at a new location but look out for collabs as early as March. Introducing ELLE FIERCE @ellefierce_ for ASSMR VOL07 13.12.2025 ELLE FIERCE (she/her) is a performance and visual artist, and DJ, based between London and Europe. Her practice spans performance, installation, film, and sound, rooted in the conviction that the body is a potent site of resistance, reclamation, and transformation. Her work confronts hegemonic constructs of race, gender, and beauty, centring Black trans-femininity within the white European context. By interrogating Western aesthetic paradigms and their exclusionary legacies, she explores the dualities of visibility and representation — how they liberate and constrain under the weight of racialised and gendered ideals.
