Our goal as always with our famous drag queens is soft beauty light!✨ We achieved this with two @hudson.spider Redbacks with Stealth boxes and classic @litegear Litemats. The cyc was colored with @kinoflolightingsystems fluorescents with L192 Flesh Pink gel, alternating with LM Spectrums in a slightly bluer purple, mirroring PD's lovely game show table!♀️
How lovely to get to set lighting for this INCREDIBLE talent! I get to see them walk into my setup, look absolutely gorgeous, and watch them do their thing✨

It's almost been a year since I moved to LA to work in the film industry as a CLT and lighting technician. I tell people all the time that I was so lucky to get the rose-colored glasses that was my first gig: this beautiful, colorful, moving, queer film called Playland. I don't know when it'll be out of post, but my fantastic DP @jojolamdop posted this still, so I thought it was time to start posting my work to my main ig feed!!
I worked as ACLT and lighting console programmer to @davewilwayco , who I'm so grateful to for taking a chance on me and for continuing to be an incredible mentor.
I'm so glad to be in this city, to be meeting fantastic colleagues and artistic collaborators.
A year and a half after shooting during the first COVID summer... I love seeing shows I've worked on thrive🥰
