Here is another new item. The chopsticks are a cool item for me to make. I had to learn a lot about different techniques and these are made from the scaps I get from the large cooking spoons. I really love making chopsticks. 📷: @mpbfilms

New spoon! These little guys are so cute. They can be used for appetizers or an everyday spoon or a little dessert spoon.

While I am settling into the new spot I haven't been making any spoons, but I have been able to work on a few personal projects. Some of them are commissioned, some are gifts, and some allowed me to try a new style or technique. Photo credit goes to @mpbfilms . She really did an amazing job capturing my work and I can't thank her enough!  Picture 1: Cute little mushroom salad hands that a friend commissioned. Picture 2: I started to teach myself how to woodturn. Here is a french rolling pin that I made for a gift. Picture 3: A body cutting board for a really good friend. I had fun with this one because it is not just a rectangle that I normally make. It gave me a chance to test out my skills when cutting this board to shape.

Thank you to everyone that supported my little woodshop over the holidays. I never saw that coming and am so grateful. I learned a lot about myself through the process. Even though the shop will stay closed for a few more months, I will be posting some new pieces, custom work, and fun new ways to look at old work.  Every piece I make I put everything I have into it. Thank you again to those of you who bought from me!

Wow! I haven't posted in a while and that is because I have been flooded with orders and support. It has been so great to be busy everyday making spoons. I am all caught up and ready to take on more orders. Please let me know if you are interested or have any questions. One of the most underrated items I make are the medium spatula. At home I use it the most for eggs, tacos, veggies. I get a ton of questions on how I make my spoons. What are my steps? The 3rd photo is a shot on how I make my measuring set. I draw each spoon out on a piece of wood and then carve the bowls. I then cut them out and shape the rest of the spoon.

Lots of people have been asking to see all the spoons that I make so I thought I'd share. The holidays are right around the corner! 🎁 If you are interested in buying some spoons for a gift, I am limited in the amount of orders I can take as I hand make each one upon request. The sooner you order, the better. Here's the lineup! Left to right - Medium Spatula Large Sauce Spoon Medium Sauce Spoon Drink Mixing Spoon Coffee Scoop (2 tbsps) Measuring set (1 tbsp, 1/2 tbsp, 1 tsp, 1/2 tsp)
