The arrival of a new art director in a house is usually a moment of fashion drama, of uneasy tension. But not this time. JW Anderson has managed to turn his appointment at the head of Dior into a youthful celebration, a moment of happy clarity where archives meet genius and audacity .
For this issue, CARCY wanted to mark this historical shift with a fashion series made in collaboration with artist @jesperjust as part of the magazine’s Neo-Renaissance - a space where worlds collide and visions overlap to create a new reality.

Thank you for bringing me into your world @simoncarle__ ❤️ I’ve long admired your work and working together with you was an even more beautiful experience than I could have imagined. All pieces are made from antique lingerie I sourced from collectors apartments, flea markets, and in hidden drawers in the back of antique stores around Paris and Florence.. each piece has its own important history and its so spiritually gratifying to watch them live a new life through Simon’s sensitivity and design process.
