Meet the final three chefs joining us for Sup-sup sui 濕濕碎: Mister Jiu’s 10 years in Chinatown, Presented by @Resy !
@ArChanChef grew up in Hong Kong watching her grandmother bring family together over shared meals. That early love of food never left her. Her culinary path has taken her through some of Australia’s finest kitchens and 13 years across Melbourne and Singapore, before she returned home to take the reins at @holeefookhk , a Chinese restaurant with a Hong Kong heart.
She has authored two cookbooks, Hong Kong Local and A Day In Hong Kong, and has made it her mission to shine a spotlight on Cantonese cuisine.
She joins @brandoj , @meilin21 , and @lucas.sin in the kitchen on Saturday, May 9th. We’re currently sold out but encourage you to sign up for notifications via @Resy in case any additional seats become available.
Ho Lee Fook 口利福 prides itself on its inventive approach to classic Cantonese cooking. Helmed by chef ArChan Chan, it seamlessly blends the flavour and community she grew up with, combined with her thirteen years abroad. Since her return in 2021, her cooking has explored 人情味 (jan4 cing4 mei6), the flavour and power of human connections.
“Good fortune for your mouth” is the literal translation of Ho Lee Fook, where locals and international visitors can sample familiar and new tastes of Hong Kong paired with one of the most extensive Chinese wine selections in the city.
Just steps away lies Old Town Central, a lively cultural pocket filled with street art, historic temples, indie boutiques, and award‑winning bars — making the area well worth exploring before or after your meal.
