Once in a blue moon, the wild things come out.
Join us May 30 · 5–8 PM for a new exhibition timed to one of the rarest nights of the year—the Blue Moon.
This show brings together three artists working in the language of darkness, nature, and the untamed:
@jkarr1968 — nocturnal and animal-inspired mixed media
@sugar_farm — black and white feather photography
@darinmichelle — mixed media works
Meet the artists, hear the stories behind the work, and maybe take something home. All works are available for purchase.
•
Then wander down the hall, where the Blue Moon Art Market fills @artfarmannapolis with local vendors—jewelry, candles, tea blends, and original fine art.
This is a once-in-a-blue-moon kind of night. 🌙✨

Thank you for ROAR.
This exhibition is close to our hearts. it’s about supporting women artists — creating space for them to show up, to be seen, to take up space in their own way.
Alison Chase Radcliffe, Donna O’Neal (@donnao.art ), Kendyl Lawson (@kendyllawson ), Marisa Evangelista (@marisase.art ), Nichole Leavy (@nicholeleavyart ), and Peace Adebanjo (@picnicsbypeace ) —thank you for trusting us with your work.
You could feel it in the space—people slowing down, taking a second look, talking about what they were seeing.
that’s really all we could ask for. 🖤
We’re starting something new.
Join us for the first themed session of the — Artist Development Lab — a creative forum designed to support artists who are looking for guidance, feedback, and community.
For this edition, we’re creating space specifically for women artists to connect, share work, and discuss the realities of building a creative practice.
Bring a piece of your work and join the conversation around topics like pricing artwork, refining your style, framing and presentation, creating prints, and finding the best ways to get your work seen.
The Artist Development Lab is meant to be an open forum for learning, resource sharing, and networking with fellow creatives.
Each gathering will feature a different theme—this time, we’re highlighting and supporting women artists in our community.
✨ Share your work

Meet ‘ROAR’ Artist Peace Adebanjo ✨
Peace is an artist whose work lives in experience—creating immersive floral settings where detail, care, and creativity come together in a way you can step into.
Nothing about her process feels thrown together.
Each setup is thoughtfully built—handmade elements, curated menus, tables crafted and arranged with intention. What started as a birthday she didn’t want to miss became something more… a moment that revealed what she was capable of creating.
That one celebration turned into @picnicsbypeace and a practice rooted in transforming everyday gatherings into something lasting.
Her work is about creating space—where people can slow down, connect, and enjoy something thoughtfully made just for them.
Thank you for an amazing weekend!!! 🖤
We made art, we made new connections and we had fun!
Thanks to @jkarr1968@realjimihaha@sugar_farm and @darinmichelle ! ✨

If you missed it, the AOS studio tour is a weekend where artists open their working studios to the public — real spaces, real process, not just finished work on a wall.
👉 next tour: April 3–4, 2027

Meet ‘ROAR’ Artist Kendyl Lawson (@kendyllawson ) ✨
Kendyl is an artist whose work moves across mediums—large and small—but most often returns to encaustic, where wax, pigment, and texture build something layered and tactile.
Nothing about her process feels fixed.
Each piece holds a sense of movement—materials shifting, surfaces building, moments caught somewhere between control and release.
Her work leans into that in-between space… where experimentation leads, and the outcome reveals itself along the way. ✨
Meet ‘ROAR’ Artist Alison Chase Radcliffe (ACR)
Alison is a Howard County–based visual artist and musician, working across mediums to create portraiture that feels alive—shifting, layered, and in motion.
“I don’t like to be defined. My work is always evolving.”
Through her own words, she shares how portraiture becomes a way to explore the human condition, why confusion and mess are part of the process, and how each piece builds a kind of reciprocity between artist and subject.
