It’s seriously been such a long time coming. Having been riding for the last 13 years, and having my last bike stolen 2 years ago completely ripped me apart. The universe really gave me a win with this one thanks to @vpcycle and winning that raffle on NYE.
And of course, knowing this gem of a human who I met working side by side at Revzilla many years ago. Joe is gonna turn this bike into my dream over the next few months and I can’t wait to see what he does to make this thing a fkn reality. Officially left for his shop today. I feel like I finally have my old personality back 🥲

Happy anniversary to that time I woke up to probably the coolest Christmas/early birthday present ever - discovering that @trixiemattel is obsessed with @patricethemovie and will talk about it any chance she’s given. Trixie, Patrice loves you and will do a meet and greet any time you’re ready, k?
Words can’t even express how proud I am of this one 🌸 @misenpalace@crustveganbakery was 4yrs old when I met Meagan. Since then, I’ve watched every good, bad, and ugly ebb and flow (not to mention a pandemic) rip through the paths of this small business owner. Somehow, she was able to navigate it all not only for the sake of her own sanity, but for her beautiful team as well.
This winter @crustveganbakery will celebrate their 11yr anniversary in their NEW home in the East Falls neighborhood of Philadelphia, one block off Kelly Drive.
Let’s give it up for this lil b!! 🍰✨
Name a better trio, I’ll wait ❤️🔥

Andrea, thank you for having so much trust in me and for being my favorite creative collaborator and director. And to Naomi, for absolutely endlessly hitting it out of the park in leading Art Dept. I hit the jackpot with you two. And of course a special thank you to @emceerose for bringing all us together 🌹🌹
‘Skin of the Bride’ was nominated for a Regional Emmy! So proud of this small and mighty team 🏆

Isaiah Zagar, founding artist of Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens (@phillymagicgardens ) and the creator of its world-famous art environments and more than 200 public mosaic murals are largely deemed a significant part of Philadelphia’s public art landscape.
It took Isaiah Zagar nine years to make the 7,000-square-foot tile mosaic wrapping around the Painted Bride building in Philadelphia’s Old City neighborhood. The work had stood for a quarter century when it then endured a five-year court battle to determine its fate - “The Skin of the Bride is coming down”. The fate of the Painted Bride has pitted arts organization against arts organization and neighbor against neighbor.
When the Painted Bride — the arts organization that owned the building — wanted to sell it to a local developer, the Magic Gardens attempted, unsuccessfully, to have the mosaic declared historic by the Philadelphia Historical Commission. Thus began a protracted legal fight, efforts to block the sale to the developer, a developer’s attempt at a redesign that would preserve the mosaic walls by suspending an apartment building above it, and a neighborhood group opposing that redesign for its height.
In the end, the mosaic lost. Stacey Holder, the Magic Gardens preservation and facilities manager, said it is not giving itself up easily. “We’re finding that most of the tiles are really well adhered. Things are breaking as we’re removing them because they’re so well adhered,” Holder said. “The wall is really intact, so we’re having a lot of problems. But we’re doing the best we can.” While parts of the 7,000-square-foot tile mosaic mural on the building is currently being removed for preservation, demolition is expected to follow.
