This new work I made for @kingsofleon was a really fun project to be asked to help bring to life - many thanks to the homies @creativeteamworldwide for bringing me on.
It was a privilege to get to comb through the KOL archives for photos, footage, and artwork from across their 25 year career and choose pieces to put together and animate for this video, which coincides with the release of their freshly released āEP #2ā.
From the start, I knew that I wanted to animate actual handwritten text for displaying the lyrics - and Iām so glad that a collaboration with @saintnoforever worked out for that, with him providing all of the lettering and some of the illustrations.

Finally got to see some of my recent #livevisuals work for @lordhuron at their recent stop in Phoenix. Show was incredible. Grateful to have been a part of the team that made the visuals. The show was produced by the inimitable @courdesign / lucky to get to work alongside @matthewdelisi@rickyrunfola and @jakub_blank
Back in the Fall of 2021, I met @michael.a.muller at a pizza spot in Tucson by total chance (he was only in Tucson because he got a flat tire on the interstate while passing through, and stayed in town that night). We hit it off immediately and quickly realized we had bunch of mutual friends, etc.
A few months later he came back to Arizona to record me playing some drums for a piece of music that he was working on that would be an audio counterpart to DOGBREATH, a photobook by @genitempo
DOGBREATH was released yesterday, via @tresspasserbooks and the 28 minute track by Michael was also released yesterday on cassette tape and digitally (solely via the URL in the bookās colophon).
Thank you @michael.a.muller for having me play a small part in this. Congrats to you and @genitempo on this awesome project!

I recently took a quick trip to Memphis to have some conversations about my time playing drums in Colour Revolt.
Before the trip, I dug through a bunch of old hard drives to find a folder of footage that I shot in the studio while recording āThe Cradleā. I hadnāt watched the footage since around the time of the recording in 2010, and donāt think Iāve ever shared any of it. Hereās a clip of us recording the track āMona Lisaā off of that record.
What a joy and an endless adventure to live life with you, @tes.hash - happy 40th birthday!! 2 days late since the last few days have been nonstop laughter and celebration ⨠May the laughs, loves, celebrations, and adventures never stop š„³šš„°
