We met almost a decade ago on @directorkeithbearden ’s second feature @antarcticamovie (streaming on Prime) and we instantly connected. After shotlisting my first feature together I knew we needed to work together on something in the interim. Ladies and gentlemen, that’s a wrap on Sunnyside. We set out to make a feature film and we actually did it. Making this movie has been a dream come true, and the most incredible experience of my life. A ton of work, long days, and a great team made this possible. I’m so proud of what we created and excited for what’s next. I’ll be sharing more BTS in the coming months, from weeks two and three on set, to the editing process, and then the process of festivals, distribution, and getting this incredible film out there for everyone to see. Ella is honored to be a part of this festival for the second year in a row.
