When you meet someone like Lucy, you never want to let her go. We first met in 2017 in Pavas, CR where Lucy was our interpreter for the first of many mission trips. Every year we looked forward to reuniting with our sweet soul- daughter whose hugs you never want to leave! This time, our reunion was in Florida - it finally happened!- and I spent as much time with her as I could. She is SO loved by SO many people here. I am so very grateful to Tiffany and Deanne for bringing our Lucy back to our arms and into our homes. I love you Lucy! Til next time! I love you so much ❤️🙏
We finally got to have dinner at Arabesque in Suntree! Everything was SO delicious! From talking to the chef we learned that every ingredient is intentionally sourced to reflect the authentic flavors of age-old recipes from Turkish, Moroccan, Egyptian and Pakistanian kitchens. It was hard to pick a favorite around our table (because we loved it all!) but the Om-Ali for dessert is a must: a typical treat made with mama’s love for her kiddos. Mother’s Day vibes: Chef Gavin whipped up a 5-star brunch with Sous Chef Bruce in a supporting role. Gabby took the lead in ”keep Mom out of the kitchen and make her relax” 😆-mission accomplished. I stayed out of the kitchen, got pampered, and ended up with a full heart (and belly) 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thanks guys!
