I know dogs aren’t supposed to live forever, but the little kid in me thought you’d never go. You were the one thing In life I could always count on to be there for me the past 15 years. You taught me how to love and were there for the ultimate highs and lows of growing up. I’ll miss the pitter patter of your paws on the wood floor, miss our shared excitement for food and car rides, and you always keeping an eye on me to have my back. You helped shape who I am and I’m forever grateful to you. See you on the other side my girl. You will always be my best friend Maya.
