Project 25. Battle of The Baddest. A few nuggets that I hope 25 year old me would’ve taken something from. The overriding theme of this one is: trusting your gut in the moment and being good people. Not rocket science but it will take you far. Produced by @wegoagain Shot in 2023 / Released on Netflix in 2024.

Project 25. Tashan’s Story. I’ve always been a big believer that we should share more of our process on this platform - not just the final images / film. I should have done this a lot sooner. I’ve labelled this ‘Project 25’ and it’s with the 25 year old me in mind. I know I would have taken something from this. So I hope someone else can too. The above is all about the balance of sensitivity and coverage. Early on in my career, I’ll never forget asking Director @rafrafalat loads of questions on a plane to Barcelona once about how he was planning on covering the shoot, working with footballers etc. I learnt so much from him from one conversation and I hope this series (across commercials, documentaries, general industry experience) can provide something someone can use in the future.

Proud to have signed with @wme 🤝 We started We Go Again just two years ago with the goal of putting our own stamp on the sports documentary space, telling stories in a way that has not been done before. Signing with WME recognises that - we cannot wait to show you what’s coming next, working closely with the best in the game. Arthur & Tom

Watch The Throne: bareknuckle fight scene Is it really a documentary when you drop in to 2 minutes of this? Who knows. But that’s what @wegoagain do. Switch up the game. And it makes perfect sense when you watch the film! Shot so viscerally by @arthur_lok1 that makes you feel every punch (at one point he did ask the performers to quite literally hit him) and produced expertly by @carlmasonfilm . In the edit, inspired by the fight sequences in Bourne, we wanted this scene to feel as raw and organic as possible - with room for a moment or two of dark humour to breathe - and giving time to the young boy (portraying a young Tyson Fury) experiencing what’s unfolding through his eyes. Another decision we made was to ensure this sequence was not over the top in fast cuts - where you can’t even tell what’s going on - like some big screen similar scenes can be. Considering you are hiding punches that didn’t actually land - I think we achieved that right balance in pacing - which is a massive thanks to the performances and cinematography. An incredible learning experience to edit our first fight sequence (that’s not in a boxing ring!) and do hit us up for Bourne 5. Big shout to @rumble.post who took our track lay (laying in sfx during the edit) and levelled it up to create such a brutal and organic soundscape that you can truly feel. Also at one point we had ‘Come and get your love’ as the soundtrack but we couldn’t afford it in the end so maybe next time.
