In a life, we see many faces, ride many buses, smell many farts and perfumes, kiss many people, make many jokes and mistakes, water many plants, dance to many songs, cry whenever sadness overcomes us. Although several of these events slip into the quotidian via recurrence, there are some which remain fugitive and build their own lives in the crevices of our memory.
Our Workshop is an invitation to collectively unfold these humid spaces and air them with our contemporary selves. To close a cycle, to open a new one, or simply to return to a memory.
What would you wish to have told to the ex-partner of your parent, that aunt that divorced your uncle, your ex’s mom, your teacher from high school, your first boss, the sibling of your ex-best friend, your first love?
These thoughts and feelings will be shared and joined, finding a final form in a cadaver-exquisite-type letter to some of the supporting-roles in our life experiences. How would a letter to a lost friend look like if it's written by a group of people who are strangers to one another? Can this exercise paint the contour of the archetypical friend, teacher or lost contact?
WHEN? 25.03.2026 // 13:00 to 17:00 at MEDIUM GALLERY
