SYNOPSIS

How I’m feeling these days in Paris doing animation! ☺️ It feels wonderful throwing myself into it. This started as a study of Cinderella Milt Kahl frames for @thesketchexperience ‘s great class, and I finally got around to finishing my illustrated version! Spending my days here doing art is a joy I’ll never forget. Hope you enjoy! ❤️

Now that I’ve finished my first day of classes at Gobelins, it feels real! I wanted to share with this sketch that I’m starting a new chapter of my life here in Paris, and I’m so excited to be part of Gobelins’ first M.A. in Visual Storytelling program. I’ll be working on personal projects and projects with my amazing classmates! 🥳
It’s been an adventure since my very first animation class years ago (animating on paper!), and it still doesn’t feel real sometimes! ☺️Thanks for supporting me along the way!

Notably, her project ”The Colors of Trujillo“ captures the fading beauty of her family‘s hometown in Peru, preserving its vibrant past through photography. Each year, as buildings vanish or decay, Hurtado’s lens immortalizes their essence, advocating for the preservation of Trujillo‘s architectural heritage.
