It wasn’t until adulthood that I began to recognize the advantages. This is the heart of the therapy work I do, the talks I give, and the book I’m writing. These three minutes were shaped in community. By people who listened, reflected my truth back to me, and reminded me I didn’t have to do this alone. I made it this far because I trusted myself enough to ask for help, and trusted my community enough to receive it. This is just a teaser.
