Thank you @forbes for naming Cultura & Cash as a Must-Read Money Books For Women’s Financial Growth In 2026! I’m honored to be included with a classic like The Psychology of Money (which I’m currently reading in Spanish!) and to be alongside fellow author friends Jamila Souffrant and Yanely Espinal. Alejandra Rojas from @brownwaytomoney did a fantastic job of curating a list of books that fill a lot of the gaps in traditional financial education and offer a more expansive, healing, and culturally aware path to wealth. Women of color- this list is for you! Read the full list in my stories or @forbes 🌷 The Spanish adaptation of Cultura & Cash will be released this spring. To be the first to know, comment LIBRO and I’ll send you the waitlist to sign up ! #author #firstgen #latina #moneybooks

The current administration WANTS YOU to feel defeated, helpless and apathetic. Don’t let them win! Of course, take breaks and care for yourself along the way, but keep working towards your 2025 goals💪🏽. Because what I’ve learned is accomplished Latinos always look back and help bring others up with them. That’s how we rise!✊🏽 You started the year excited and hopeful with new intentions for 2025. Don’t let the orange cheeto and his minions stop you from working towards those dreams! Here is my number one tip to achieving your goals. 🌱Invest in yourself As Latinas, we aren’t encouraged to invest in ourselves. We’re taught to not ask for help, and to take pride doing it alone. And you can do it alone. But it will take you much longer and you’ll make more mistakes along the way- which can keep you stuck. You are your greatest asset! You are worth the investment. For example: If you’re looking for some direction and need help executing- hire a life coach If you want to get healthy and have had trouble sticking to an exercise plan- hire a trainer If you want to start a business but have no idea how to start- hire a business coach These are some points from my inspiring Mex Talks this past October. You can watch the full speech on my website! Acknowledgement: I understand that not everyone has the ability to hire 1:1 support, and that’s okay. Consider working with an accountability buddy for free, or working with a coaching group for a more affordable cost. The point is to get the help you need to get to where you want to go. You can do this! #latinas #growth #2025goals

Passports are the new form of currency 👀 Today marks 1 year since I moved to Spain! 🇪🇸 I’ve really enjoyed my time abroad and hope to make Spain my long term home. I can’t believe a year has gone by, especially now that I’m halfway through the residency requirement to apply for citizenship Curious about life in Spain? I’ve recorded several episodes on my podcast Cultura & Cash, but if you want me to answer anything specific please comment below 👇🏽 #lifeinspain #valencia #mexicanaenespaña #latina

Leaving the U.S. for Spain was a leap of faith. I needed a change—something fresh and exciting! But it hasn’t been all Spanish sunshine and tapas. Adapting to a new country means dealing with challenges. And making friends in Valencia has proven more difficult than I expected 😅 Locals often have established social circles, making it hard for newcomers to break in. While I’ve connected with other expats through mutual friends, finding deeper connections with Spanish people has been…. a challenge. Life is not like Emily in Paris! 🥖🇫🇷 I talked about this in detail on a new episode of the Cultura & Cash podcast 🎧 What You’ll Hear in This Episode: 🔸 Why I chose Spain over Mexico 🔸 The top challenges I’ve had in my first year abroad 🔸 How I’ve built community in Spain, and do I have any Spanish friends yet? 🔸 How much healthcare costs and how it works 🔸 The health improvements I’ve had since immigrating to Spain Listen on your favorite podcast platform or comment PODCAST and I’ll send you the l1nk to listen: #expat #movingabroad #digitalnomad #latinainspain #valencia

First they talk crap. You’re making different money moves than them. They don’t understand it. So they criticize. Then they ask you “wait, how can I do this too?” If you’re in the middle of improving your finances and feel misunderstood by others, ignore the haters and keep going ! Thank you to @cnbcmakeit for the feature. You can read the article on their website or by visiting my stories #moneymatters #financialliteracymonth
