*<ADEYE JEAN-BAPTISTE>* From an early age I was always on the go, hopping, running, jumping and later scooting, rolling, and zooming. This fascination with movement would become the crux of my artistic practice. I am fascinated by the movement of people, specifically across landscapes. Beyond the physical movement I am interested in why people migrate. Within my work I present a perspective of those who are non-native to the environment that they have traveled to or through. I draw from both personal as well as generational experience when building out my narratives. Aesthetically I am influenced by the cultures I grew up in such as graffiti, skate, and city. I am also influenced by the 1980s, the era in which my parents immigrated to the US. To match this aesthetic I draw from materials that have both a lived and conceptual history. I combined these seasoned objects with those that are newly formed to create cohesive installation work. “DRINK NO ICE”, Blown Glass, 8inx4in,2025 Exhibition Location 📍 Neureutherstraße 26 80799 München, Germany Exhibition Opening Reception(dungeon party)🎉 March 04 (18:00 - 21:00) Exhibition Hours ⏳ March 04 - 06 (11:00 - 18:30) March 07 (10:00 - 15:00) #dungeondweller #dungeondwellercult #munichjewelleryweek

We’re so excited to share that we will be teaching at @haystack_school our class on experimental beadwork🪡🧡⭐️ In our workshop you will explore the possibilities of beading and how it can work with your main practice, In the loop, off the loom: experimental beadwork aims to teach you the basics so that you can create freely with beads alone or how @adayamonthayear and I often do in relation to our main material glass and metal. 🫰🏼🫰🏼Applications are open and it’s FREE to apply!! Also check out all the incredible workshop offerings haystack definitely has amazing people teaching this summer, so share this post with someone interested in beading!! Teaching at haystack is truly such an honor for both of us and we can’t wait to be in this magical Maine coast again with you!! Tell your people and apply 🫶🏽 SESSION 5 | August 9–21, 2026 Applications close February 20th so make sure to get in your application before then! This workshop will be a survey of beading techniques, focusing on off-loom bead weaving and embroidery. Whether you are a seasoned beadworker or a beginner, this workshop has something for you! Participants will learn to tell stories with their beads: the material, their history, and cross-cultural significance. Both instructors have varied approaches to beadwork—one with a foundation in glass, the other in metalworking. This is not a traditional beading workshop! You will learn long-established techniques and fundamentals with the expectation that participants will bring other mediums to work with in the studio. Utilizing beading, you will encase, embellish, and work in tandem with alternative materials. All levels welcome.
