The best of both worlds collide as current team members @thegambitman and @jamescantychess fight to defend their spot, with special guest WGM @jenshahade making an appearance.
Leaders of the tryouts, deathly skilled in both boxing and chess, will go on to compete in the Chess Boxing World Championships in Serbia later this year. Stay tuned for more hard hitting action!

June 23rd, 2024 - Merch and I were wrapping up recording the song. JJ was in the other room getting ready for his session. We hit a standstill and were about to call it finished… then, out of nowhere, I started singing “maybe it’s all just in your mind.”
Gabe walks in.
That was the first time we ever met.
We clicked immediately, and I was genuinely surprised by his desire and enthusiasm to work with me. Fast forward (with A LOT of in-betweens 😭) to June 12th/13th, 2025 and stone age became a reality. Against all odds: changing locations last minute (shout out Eric), random people accidentally interrupting the shoot, the drain beginning to flood… and so much more.
This is what made it such a fun, creatively cathartic experience. From the moment I recognized Merch’s excitement for the song, to Gabe digging it, and everyone else’s readiness to make this into a reality, no matter the circumstances. We had an incredible crew, and honestly, it felt like a movie. I know I can get excited and feel annoying at times, but I’m truly thankful for everyone who played a part in this and believed in the shared vision.
Fast forward again to February 13th, 2026, it’s finally released.
It feels really good to share something that means this much to me. To those it was meant to reach, thank you for seeing it for what it is.
In this moment, it feels like the closing chapter of #Unspoken (for now 😁).
Really looking forward to what’s next.

My work with @thederrickjohn on “Stone Age” and “lies” is more than just telling a story. It’s the unraveling of a new universe.
I wanted to share some stills from those projects to give you a sense of the otherworldly feeling they give me every time I watch them. In many ways, it’s a return to untethered creativity in music videos, and a beginning of a new era entirely.
Derrick and I have worked very closely in the completion of these projects, and the creative freedom he gave me to take abstract ideas and put them into action is something I’ll never take for granted. Not only was this an acting debut, but it was a stunt debut as well, a working-on-set debut, a performing-for-the-camera debut - and he absolutely smashed it.

These slides are a few of the titles for @mandalyn.blair.ahe upcoming visual album, Light Child. As co-director, producer and editor of the project, I discovered that titles play a much bigger role than we may realize - not only setting the tone for what’s to come, but also in allowing the threads of the story to be woven and connected through typeface.

This production already feels like a distant memory, but will always be one of my favorite projects. Love Bites was @brian_delong@bennett_okun and my senior thesis film at Colorado College, and the culmination of 4 years of filmmaking with some of the coolest students to ever walk the campus.
The list of credits for this film is too big for me to list here, but almost our entire crew got to be zombies for a day, so their undead legacy will live on through it.
Love Bites was beautifully colored by none other than the legend @augievoss_ so I wanted to showcase some of these iconic stills. If you know, you know.
