first miami art basel in the books & i was able to co-produce/curate 2 events with my team while we were out there. god just keeps blessing the kid & those around me! i’m not taking any of it for granted. keeping my foot on the gas and setting the tone for 2026.

On November 10th, 2025 my grandpa transitioned into the next realm, and it’s just now starting to hit me. The man who helped my mom with all of her children, who raised me, who would watch the jungle book with me on VHS when i was a kid no matter how many times he’s seen it, who would pick me up after school in his pick up truck and give my friends a ride if they needed one, always have my favorite candy waiting for me, is gone. I’m so grateful I was able to spend 2 months with him last year in Costa Rica, and made it back just in time to say my final goodbyes before he took his last breath. He couldn’t talk this time around, but his eyes lit up when he heard my voice! He knew his only grandson made it to see him! This will take a long time for me to process, but I gained another guardian angel. I trust he’ll be guiding his loved ones he left behind. Get your rest Abuelito!
