You may have noticed that my feed is full of dancers lately!
Something truly remarkable is happening this Friday and Saturday evening at 7 PM at the Ruth Page Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Chicago. A dance performance created by Still Inspired drawing inspiration from my practice will be happening with an incredible team of choreographers, Brain Hare and Laura Thurston, and a group of fantastic dancers: Alex Bellocq, Mark Gonzalez, Megan Hansen, Lauren Reed, Abigail Stachnik, and Tiana Thompson.
This dance performance, OLD LONG. SINCE., draws from an ever evolving body of my work that spans back to 2011 and traces many events in my life and practice.
At a time when the arts are facing so many challenges, to experience this type of gesture, reaching across disciplines and uplifting artists in the process is truly moving.
I hope you can join us for what I know will be a wonderful performance!
