We are honored to offer a dance workshop featuring our 12th season visual artist, Holly Cahill! ✨ What We Share is a process-driven workshop centered on artistic connection through collaborative creation. Rooted in Still Inspired’s practice, dancers engage with visual art not only as inspiration, but as a shared language between artist and mover. Through guided improvisation and composition led by Artistic Director Laura Thurston and Co-Producer Brian Hare, participants explore color, texture, composition, and artistic intention within the work of Holly Cahill. Dancers investigate how meaning can be translated, embodied, and reimagined through their own movement vocabulary and lived experience. Prior to entering the creative process, Cahill will share insight into her work and artistic practice, creating a deeper exchange between visual art, dance, and shared humanity. This initiative provides young artists with a platform to create and present choreography inspired by a visual artist of their choice, whether a painter, sculptor, photographer, or other creative. Participants showcase their work through live performances or dance film screenings, engaging audiences in the intersection of movement and visual storytelling.
