L’exposició La tercera torsió presenta peces recents d’Anna Moreno que reflexionen sobre la temporalitat a través de l’arquitectura utòpica i el potencial de la seva imaginació especulativa. La peça central és The Terminal Beach i forma part d’una trilogía que contraposa projectes de l’arquitecte Ricardo Bofill amb relats de l’escriptor James Graham Ballard. The Terminal Beach, una pel·lícula co-dirigida amb el cineasta brasiler Bernardo Zanotta, documenta en format de road movie l’estat actual d’un assentament nòmada construït l’any 1979 per Ricardo Bofill al Sàhara algerià, sota la comissió del president Houari Boumedienne. La construcció s’inscriu en el període utòpic de l’arquitecte, quan el seu estudi, Ricardo Bofill Taller d’Arquitectura (RBTA), funcionava com una amalgama d’arquitectes, poetes, pintors i altres creadors. Allò que havia de ser un complex concebut segons criteris de modernitat va quedar inconclús, i avui posa en evidència la tensió entre el somni d’aquella època i la realitat dels llegats colonials moderns. Marfantes es una videoinstalación en desarrollo, fruto de un proceso de trabajo e investigación iniciado por @aa_oeo hace cinco años en el Delta del Ebro. Los habitantes del territorio han participado tanto en el rodaje como en la toma de decisiones durante la edición a través de una metodología colectiva. El 21 de marzo nos juntamos en una sesión de posproducción, centrada en el visionado del primer montaje y en la elaboración de una cartografía especulativa del territorio. A partir de infraestructuras hídricas existentes: presas, estaciones de bombeo, canales de riego; trazamos los recorridos del agua en el Delta y los proyectamos hacia escenarios futuros basados en predicciones científicas. Estos flujos se plantean como una estructura fundamental para el montaje y la construcción narrativa de la película, ambientada en 2099. Con @monicaacambra (montaje) y @silvanafiorese (producción ejecutiva) Gracias a @seobirdlife_cat y a @rietvell por acogernos! 🎞️ Songs for Waters — Tonight at 20:00🎞️ Anna Moreno’s Rondalla 99 transforms a traditional song into a speculative narrative about life in the Ebro Delta. Returning to Palestine, the screening concludes with Noor Abed’s haunting Our Songs Were Ready for All Wars to Come, composed of choreographed scenes of community rituals around water wells in the village of Al-Jib. Anna Moreno reflects on the work: “Rondalla ’99 begins with a traditional singing form from the Ebro Delta (southern Catalonia), historically used to circulate stories, gossip, and local news. In the film, this oral tradition is displaced in time: the singer performs a rondalla from the future. Her song imagines everyday life in a Delta transformed by rising waters and ecological change. Instead of describing catastrophe, the lyrics speak about adaptation: new foods, altered landscapes, and different ways of inhabiting the territory. I was interested in how vernacular traditions can function as speculative tools, allowing communities to narrate possible futures through the cultural forms of their past.” Noor Abed’s Our Songs Were Ready for All Wars to Come (2021) is a 20-minute film of choreographed scenes based on documented folk tales from Palestine. It begins with a few minutes of darkness and the haunting sound of a woman’s voice. The perforated edge of the film, occasionally silhouetted by flashes of light, highlights the work as a mediated document. Images of women performing draw connections between latent stories of water wells and communal rituals associated with disappearance, mourning, and death. 📽️ Thursday, 19 March 2026, 20:00 Screening: Songs for Waters 🎞️ Films by Noor Abed, Jumana Emil Abboud, Lamia Joreige and Anna Moreno Songs for Waters, a series of short films from the Mediterranean, approaches water as a figurative form of poetry and song. Stories from dried-up and wounded bodies of water speak of their conditions and those surrounding them. The screening opens with an ode to the Mediterranean Sea through a poem by the late Etel Adnan in Lamia Joreige’s Sun & Sea, filmed around the Greek islands. It is followed by Jumana Emil Abboud’s I Feel Everything, recounting a tale from Palestinian water folklore around the Ein al-Uwayneh spring. From the western shores of the Mediterranean, Anna Moreno’s Rondalla 99 transforms a traditional song into a speculative narrative about life in the Ebro Delta. Returning to Palestine, the programme concludes with Noor Abed’s haunting Our Songs Were Ready for All Wars to Come, presenting choreographed scenes of community rituals around water wells in the village of Al-Jib. Anna Moreno @aa_oeo Manières de mesurer les marées 1er mars - 1er août Vernissage samedi 28 février de 18h à 21h Rencontre avec Anna Moreno dimanche 1er mars à 15h Anna Moreno s’inspire du concept de solastalgie, défini par le philosophe croate Srećko Horvat comme une nostalgie du futur, voire d’un présent en voie de disparition. Au cœur de son projet d’exposition se trouve le delta de l’Èbre, un territoire situé au sud de la Catalogne, un territoire marqué par sa fragilité environnementale, les tensions socio-économiques, sa mémoire historique et les incertitudes qui émergent d’un avenir marqué par l’impact du changement climatique sur cet écosystème spécifique et notamment la montée des eaux de la Méditerranée. Anna Moreno (1984) vit et travaille entre Barcelone et la Haye. Sa démarche, fondée sur la recherche, s’intéresse au caractère inachevé des événements et explore comment fiction, montage cinématographique et pensée spéculative peuvent les réactiver. À travers des films, des installations et des processus collaboratifs, elle interroge la manière dont nos sociétés construisent et projettent leurs futurs. Elle a bénéficié de plusieurs résidences dans de nombreuses institutions internationales dont notamment l’Académie Jan Van Eyck à Maastricht, SASG à Séoul, HIAP à Helsinki, Salzamt à Linz ou Cittadellarte - Fondazione Pistoletto à Biella. Son travail a été exposé au MOCBA (Belgrade), à SAS Geumcheon (Séoul), à 1646 (La Haye) et est actuellement présenté au MACBA, musée d’art contemporain de Barcelone.

LOOP ART FAIR Barcelona 2025 ANNA MORENO, Rondalla 99, 2025 From November 18 to November 20, 2025 In Rondalla 99, Anna Moreno departs from the voice of Yary, a young singer from the Ebro region, to project the living tradition of the rondalla, an improvised song still performed today at local festivities, into the future. The rondalla is news, memory, and collective storytelling; an oral practice that combines irony, popular wisdom, and resilience.
