🥳 Our animated documentary Red Zone by Iryna Tsylik @iryna.tsilyk will be pitched at the EFM Animation Days during the Berlinale EFM @efm_europeanfilmmarket . The project is taking part in the Spotlight On: Central Eastern European Animation Pitch on 12 February. Iryna Tsilyk, a celebrated Ukrainian filmmaker and poet, makes her animated debut with Red Zone. Narrated by the filmmaker, the film reflects on the fate of her generation, whose youth was marked by revolutions and war. Previously the project was pitched at CPH:FORUM and at Mifa Pitches in Annecy where it won the Eurimages and Ciclic development awards. 💫 The EFM Animation Days is a new industry platform within the European Film Market, strengthening the visibility of a sector in which Europe excels. The programme brings together producers, financiers, sales companies, broadcasters, and distributors to explore international animation projects with strong market potential. We are so thrilled to have Nicolas Blies & Stéphane Hueber-Blies among the 3 artists selected by the prestigious 18th Cinedans Festival at the Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam. Each year 3 choreographers, dancers or digital artists are selected to participate in the Cinedans VR LAB. The LAB set up a studio where choreographers, filmmakers and AV artists could work for a week, with technical and dramaturgical support on hand. They worked all the last week on prototyping their new immersive project LE GOÛT DU DÉSÉQUILIBRE which continues their work about self portrait and the body in movement. A unique opportunity to develop their skills as digital artists. Thank you to all the team, Nienke Rooijakkers, Sergi and Matunda. You are awesome !
