Uluslararası Suç ve Ceza Film Festivali’nin on altıncısı 27 Kasım - 2 Aralık tarihleri arasında İstanbul’da izleyiciyle buluşacak. Film programı, Akademik Program ve VisionIst ana bölümlerinden oluşan festivalin adalet temalı filmleri İBB Beyoğlu Sineması ve Kadıköy Belediyesi Sinematek/Sinema Evi salonlarında gösterime sunulacak.
Festivalin Altın Terazi ödül heykelciğine modellik eden adalet tanrıçası Themis bu yıl da İstanbul’u gezmeye devam ediyor. Geçen yıl festival afişinde İstiklal Caddesi’nin ikonik tramvayından Beyoğlu’na inmişti. Bu yıl da Yerebatan Sarnıcı’nın tarihi sütunları arasından yükseliyor. Festivalin afiş tasarımı İlke Büyükkalaycı imzası taşıyor.
International Crime and Punishment Film Festival will celebrate its 16th edition in Istanbul between November 27 - December 2, at the Metropolitan Municipality’s Beyoglu Cinema and Kadikoy Municipality’s Cinematheque-Cinema House. The festival is composed of three sections: A dynamic blend of film screenings, an Academic Program on law and sidebar event VisionIst composed of masterclasses, panel discussions, film analysis etc.
Last year’s festival poster described Themis, the Goddess of Justice which serves the model for the festival’s Golden Scale award statuette— descending from the iconic tram in Beyoglu district. This year, Themis walks among the historic columns of the Basilica Cistern. The festival poster is designed by İlke Büyükkalaycı.

76. Berlin Film Festivali’nde Türk sineması tarih yazdı! İlker Çatak’ın Sarı Zarflar’ı En İyi Film Altın Ayı, Emin Alper’in Kurtuluş’u Jüri Büyük Ödülü Gümüş Ayı kazandı. Festivalin en büyük iki ödülünün de Türkiye ortak yapımlarına verilmesi büyük bir başarı olarak sinema tarihine geçti.

Congratulations to Sven Bresser who’s film ‘Rietland’ received the Turkish Film Critics’ Association Jury Award in the Feature Film section at the Crime and Punishment Film Festival in Istanbul.
This achievement marks yet another accolade since the film premiered at Cannes in the prestigious La Semaine de la Critique section.
Rietland, is a film that reflects on the dynamics and economic challenges facing a reed-harvesting rural community in the Netherlands. Featuring many local people and first-time actors from the region, it is noted for its cinematic quality and authenticity.
Building on its successes, this film is the Netherlands’ official submission for the 98th Academy Awards in the International Feature Film category.
For a first-time feature director, these achievements are extraordinary. The project reflects what committed funding, creative ambition, and cross-border collaboration can deliver, and it highlights the importance of sustained support for Dutch filmmaking.
Rietland was realized through key Dutch and European funding mechanisms, including the Netherlands Film Fund and the Netherlands Production Incentive.
