JAMES ARTHUR/ LASTING LOVER Bringing the mixdown for @jamesarthur23 ’s Lasting Lover for his Pisces world tour. After working with James on previous tours, we’ve built such a relationship with this song. It’s one of his most upbeat songs, deeply loved by the fans. A song that exudes so much joy and is such a transfer of energy between the stage and every audience. As this song is such a big crowd moment, it needed a powerful intro. A curtain of smoke descends like dry ice falling off the stage. As the camera gets closer to the smoke, it parts, bringing us into this world of spiralling shapes, neon and fluidity, drawing you into the energy immediately. We wanted to keep to the neon colour themes of the previous tour, however where we had colourful, fun moments filled with animals last time, this time we leaned into the idea of a flow state, bringing in the smoke and intertwining fluid shapes. Moments of symmetry and smoke spiralling in on itself were integral here to represent the journey of that ever-lasting love, changing through time, mirrored in previous heartbreak, history together and being wrapped in apprehension but also a sense of hopefulness for the future and a desire to keep wrapped in this love. @maxonredshift @maxonvfx #embergen #cinema4d 📸 @lukedyson

Mixdown time 🎛️ This time going deep into the visual world we built for @aymen82i and @amoooffiziell ’s Aymo tour - specifically the anamorphic universe behind Low Life, Tash Bolivia, and Rap aus Herzen. The architecture was the starting point. Brutalist and imposing but also cinematic. Buildings that represent the underground and its barriers, cycles of darkness but also the hunger to push through. Everything we built existed to tell their story, building a world that reflected theirs and a visual language that shared that world with their fans. Rap aus Herzen pulled directly from the visual language of their music video - a grounding in familiarity and identity. The coldness of an asylum rendered in insipid green light. The pain of confinement, the prison of the mind made physical. Siren lights cut through the space, giving it an uneasy, fractured energy that felt like a mix of surveillance and breakdown. 🟢 Tash Bolivia hit differently. Harsh, strobing flashes. Ruthless predator energy with minimal warmth and no mercy. It was aggressive and confrontational, leaving nowhere to hide. Intense by design, building the pressure. For Low Life, cybernetic light architecture threaded through the environment, pulling us somewhere between underground and otherworldly, drawing back to cyberpunk influences in steel and shadow. This was the most structured of the three - a composed art piece, sculptural with the brightness cutting through. Across all three, light sources within the video were everything. We kept them deliberately minimal. A key light from above, one or two shafts cutting down into the space, with the contrast and grain doing the heavy lifting. The performers had to exist inside the world as they moved within the set design, not just in front of it, meaning the visuals couldn’t move independently. Instead, we brought the energy through shadow, manipulating darkness to build tension. The bass hits brought light slicing through. Snares were represented by flashes. Vocals brought glitches. ⚡ At the centre of it all was the anamorphic void, giving the sense of looking into something from the inside. A window into their minds, their world and their story.

ANDREA BOCELLI/ O FORTUNA We’re back with another Mixdown, this time with @andreabocelli ’s performance of O Fortuna. 🎡 O Fortuna is a 13th century medieval Latin poem from the Carmina Burana manuscript. A lament to the goddess Fortune herself. This song is so full of legend, so powerful and ancient. There’s a reason it needs a full orchestra and choir to hold it. Bocelli’s rendition is simply haunting. Hearing it live is a visceral experience, incredibly moving and so full of weight and raw emotion. We needed the visuals to match and amplify that intensity, so we went back to the roots of the poem for this one. 👁️ The Wheel of Fortune is one of the oldest symbols in Western art. Fortuna at its centre, watching over everything. Wealth, power and royalty at the top. The fall. Death at the bottom. And on the left, that eternal reaching, striving for the top. Fortuna, or Fate, raises you up and destroys you over and over, without sympathy, simply ambivilance. We carved her four phrases into the wheel itself: I shall reign. I reign. I have reigned. I am without kingdom. An endless cycle of hope and dejection. We built the wheel from scratch, figures modelled from our own illustrations, pulled from the manuscript into three dimensions. We lit it, textured it, gave it weight and shadow and presence. Then we let EmberGen loose on it, bringing fire and explosions modelled as volumetric data, living inside the 3D world, wrapping around the wheel to bring that urgency and sense of power, despair and destruction. It felt important to blend the wheel and the fire in a way that symbolised the wheel as itself contributing to the destruction of the people within each corner. Hard camera cuts between the wheel and the orchestra acted as a kind of call and response. The orchestra crying out into the dark. The wheel turning. The fire rising. Fortuna, orchestrating it all in the centre.

AYMEN & AMO/ AYMO ARENA TOUR Hot off the plane from Germany, where we brought the video design for @aymen82i and @amoooffiziell ’s Aymo arena tour. Inspired by gritty Berlin backstreets, neon gradients and cyberpunk skylines, we built a futurist metropolis; brooding, secretive and filled with life. Late night cities, light cutting through the dark streets, giving the feeling that it’s always 3am. @mangatacollective ’s structured stage design gave us the depth to build cities for songs in our 3D playground of dreams. We designed apartment buildings that felt lived in, leaned into the anamorphic with some sifi surrealism and even a trek into the jungle for the diehard fans too🦧 Such a pleasure to work with legend @syn___syn and of course great to work with and spend so much time with our pals at @mangatacollective ! SLICK RICK/ MOBO AWARDS REHEARSALS Back with another Master Timeline! 👑 This time, we’re taking you behind the scenes at rehearsals for @therulernyc at the @moboawards . We kicked things off paying a visit to the the set team, who brought our regal dreams to life with the build, wrangling 1,900 crowns to build the custom set for Rick’s performance. From there, we headed North. Getting the crew together for the first time, going through the rehearsal plam, filming Rick and Estelle for the on-screen content, then straight to an exclusive screening of Rick’s film with Idris Elba, VICTORY. The final two days were in the venue; meeting with the lighting team, making those last-minute changes to the set and performance to make sure everything hit exactly the way we envisioned it. 00 props for the ‘Documents’ section leveled up the performance, playing into Rick’s notorious love of storytelling. Working so closely with Rick and his team gave us the space to constantly adapt. There’s always this grand vision in the design process, but rehearsals have a way of shaping new ideas, bringing forward those moments and intricacies that feel even more powerful than what we’d originally imagined. That closeness and trust gave us the freedom to experiment, play with movement, and keep refining to bring a performance that was tight and evocative of Rick’s storytelling nature. Huge thanks to everyone who made this such a memorable one! 🫶

SLICK RICK/ MOBO AWARDS Fresh off the @moboawards with show design for @therulernyc . 👑 Performing a mash-up of some of his biggest hits, plus a guest appearance from the brilliant @estelledarlings 🌠 In honour of Rick’s lifetime achievement award, we designed the performance set to reflect his career, leaning into the world he’s built, and his status as hip-hop royalty. A stage built entirely from crowns represented his kingdom, the jewels, the iconography of Slick Rick, and the throne he stands atop as The Ruler. The careful use of lighting was key to our storytelling, spotlighting Rick and other performers, controlling the energy and progression of the narrative throughout the set. Video design featured filmed content of both Estelle for spoken section ‘He Did That’, blowing her up larger than life on the screens, flanking her and Rick on the stage to duplicate their presence, bringing powerful visual impact to amplify the weight of their words. Big up all the crew for such a fun one, especially @mandyaragones , it’s been such a pleasure to work together! ANDREA BOCCELLI/ ROMANZA 30TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR We’re so excited to join @andreabocelliofficial on his Romanza 30th Anniversary World Tour, bringing the video design to honour the scale and emotion of this incredible orchestral production. It’s a show of two acts. Each deserving of bold and rich storytelling. 📖 The first half is operatic. This meant building huge environments for each song, taking inspiration from the stories of the original operas, expanding them and twisting them in our own imagination. Architecture was our central theme, using it to build worlds that felt physical, with a sense of permanence and grandeur. Travelling through vast rooms, layered textures and dramatic, open landscapes in order to echo the expansiveness of the orchestra whilst supporting the depth of the storytelling, giving each piece its own space to breathe and unfold. The second act shifts into something more cinematic. Here, we move into the more abstract, layering elements, building texture, introducing particles and moments of explosion and colour. It becomes a bright and beautiful celebration: of Andrea, of joy itself, of the emotional sweep his music has carried for so many people for so long. We absolutely love working within the expansive world of opera. Big emotion, huge scale, intricate structure. There’s so many elements and such rich history to work with, keeping us constantly inspired! ✨ Thanks so much to the talented and hard working team who made this possible! 🥺♥️ 📸 @photosbyzayne for STUDIO/
