17/23 Highlights of 2023
At the end of September I was asked by @moombaproductions to capture @raye ’s performance of My 21st Century Symphony Live at the @royalalberthall . It was an incredibly powerful and moving show packed with energy. 3 outfit changes, the @heritageorchestra conducted by @wakeuptom , joined by the @flamescollective and @annalapwoodorgan and @stevebewleys on lights.
Working around a 20-strong film crew was challenging, but I was pleased with the results. You can watch the full thing back on iPlayer now.
One of my photos went on to be the album cover for the live album, a whole bunch were printed inside the vinyl sleeves and another was used on iPlayer. It’s been incredible to see my content in so many places and it’s such an honour to have my first ever vinyl album cover for such an incredible artist @raye ❤️

Been feeling a bit burnt out this week after cramming in the festivals back to back in this short post covid summer. Took a couple of days off to breath and now I’m finishing off the mountain of editing.
I went to Reading Uni (briefly) back in 2009 and it became a bucket list item to shoot for Reading Festival. 12 years later and it’s finally crossed off and what a year to make it.

Back in Malta for @summerdazemalta , which continues to be one of the easiest places in the world to shoot a festival.
Sunshine, big crowds, and a lineup that always delivers. Always a pleasure working with the teams at @boldbishop and @356entertainmentofficial - they know how to put on a show.
Hard to complain when this is the office for a few days ☀️

Shot the reopening of The Roof Gardens in Kensington for the impeccably sharp @bryant_projects , which somehow felt more like being in the Med than a launch event in Zone 2.
Sunset, art installations, palm trees, and a surprise @stormzy set for good measure.
