Emerging Absurdity Fig 5. Before you leave the techno club with (Magsafe cosmetic box) You might know that moment: Youโ€™re at a club, you meet someone, and youโ€™re about to leave together but before you go, you want to quickly check your face. Or maybe an unexpected facetime call pops up. Either way, thereโ€™s no time to dig through your bag. So maybe this helps: a small cosmetic case with Magsafe magnetic back. Snaps right onto your phone, so always with you, ready for anytime, anywhere.๐Ÿ’„๐Ÿคณ๐Ÿ“ฑ

My work, Emerging Absurdity fig5. Before you leave the techno club with, aka Magsafe cosmetic case, was featured in @bazaaritalia !!!!! Thanks to @marco.ciacci and the photographer @jeondaahee ! Really big thanks to @ecal_design @ecal_ch @erwanbouroullec @camillebien HUMOR meets functionality: this magnetic beauty case by Korean designer Yeonsu Na is designed to be attached to a smartphone. Originally conceived as a student project at ECAL in Lausanneโ€”one of Europeโ€™s most influential art and design universitiesโ€”this prototype is part of the โ€˜Emerging Absurdityโ€™ series. The collection features other eccentric objects, including a cigarette umbrella, an interdental ring-floss, and a candle holder inspired by a glue stick. With its conceptual lightness, this project teaches us that the most intelligent design often arises from play: by questioning function, it transforms the entire experience. ์€ โ€™Emerging Absurdity(๋– ์˜ค๋ฅด๋Š” ๋ถˆํ•ฉ๋ฆฌ)โ€˜ ์‹œ๋ฆฌ์ฆˆ์˜ ์ผํ™˜์ž…

Five accessory objects for contemporary daily life. Drawing on everyday norms, the designs incorporate elements of humour and charm, while remaining rigorously constructed and thoughtfully resolved. More ๐Ÿ”œ Under the supervision of @erwanbouroullec @camillebien @ecal_design

Location: Via Padova 11, Loreto (M1 M2), Milan Press day: April 19 Dates: April 20โ€“26, 2026 DEORON returns to Milan Design Week with an expanded vision for its 2nd chapter. Going beyond the logic of display and introducing a curatorial approach with a spatial and experiential practice. The 2026 edition presents an international roster of 50+ designers, brands, and independent studios working across furniture, lighting, homeware, technology, and lifestyle. Bringing together emerging talents and established industrial furniture brands alike, the selection transcends distinctions of market segment or scale, offering a diverse and inclusive overview of contemporary design. The project weaves together objects, sound, and architecture into a unified spatial narrative. Visitors are invited not simply to observe design, but to experience it firsthand, to touch, sit, test, and inhabit the pieces as they move through a layered environment. At the heart of this immersive setting, a sculptural sound system plays a defining role, shaping the space through carefully crafted acoustics and elevating it into a fully sensorial experience. Together with materials and light, sound becomes an architectural element in itself, generating new modes of interaction and perception.

Was an amazing opening night at the Brusselsโœจ Huge thank you to @fannie.tomas and @manon.viratelle for making this happen! Happy to be here, surrounded by such talented and inspiring women๐Ÿ’ชThe exhibition will end soon-donโ€™t miss it if youโ€™re nearby. @notes_for_later_ @cloudseven.be @collectiblefair NOT(ES) FOR LATER Design exhibition This exhibition imagines a near future โ€” a gentle, satirical utopia in which professional power dynamics have shifted. Echoing the dual identity of Cloud Seven as both an exhibition space and a coworking venue, the scenography takes the form of a meeting room frozen in time: abandoned desks, cooled coffee, handwritten notes, glowing screensโ€ฆ The office becomes the archive of a world that operates differently. A work of fiction used as a critical tool to question our present realities. At its core, the project reflects on creative labor: daily, often invisible, and frequently overlooked.
