In a way, design is not so different from a pop song — it can be powerful and present in your life, yet it conveys an open and accessible message that anyone can interpret in their own way.

For Music Studio, the process was very smooth. I initially drew a strong symbolic idea — the orb with a central dot — which is inherently the skeleton of a ‘traditional’ speaker. Because of this, engineering could easily build upon it. What followed was a process of pure morphological transformation: adjusting proportions, enlarging or slimming the body, rearranging elements to support technical requirements. This is a phase I particularly enjoy, as engineers bring a deeply grounded knowledge that is always a source of inspiration.

Music Studio 5 is a Wi-Fi–enabled speaker, compact in form yet expansive in sound. It was conceived as a universal object, open to the diversity of listeners and their musical worlds.

Music Studio 5 establishes a grounded symbolic language that is easily connectable to the history of speakers, while simultaneously building a new visual and conceptual language — one that frees us from older habits of music consumption. I wanted a fresh and pure design language. In this sense, ‘fresh’ refers to its ability to respond to new listening behaviors, while ‘pure’ reflects its clarity, restraint, and ease of integration into everyday environments.

Certaines personnes semblent jeunes pour toujours, car la curiosité, la passion, la gentillesse et l’humour les habitent.
Un grand monsieur est décédé lundi 20 avril : Michel Pochon, l’un des très grands selliers de Paris.
On se connaissait depuis plus de vingt ans maintenant. Il me manquera énormément. Mais son atelier est toujours là ; Nathalie poursuivra leur chemin.
Et Michel sera partout — dans les outils, les matières, le savoir-faire et la bienveillance —, à jamais éternel pour tous ceux qui, comme moi, ont appris avec lui.

The old definition of a chair belonging to a single space, a single owner, and a fixed ergonomic is no longer valid. People move, rooms are redefined, and objects shift toward new purposes.
Snik is a simple minimum that holds many possibilities precisely because its purpose is not overdefined.
For Lad, i no longer believe that storage and shelving should be dedicated to a single type of object. It used to be the case: spaces for books, for clothes, for cutlery and plates. Life is more happily chaotic, and practices layer on top of each other.
