It felt really good to take a break from my hectic last didactic semester of grad school and just create for expression and the sake of creating, just fully committing to whatever came naturally in the moment. And just wanna shoutout @_outerclass for giving us the space to share and to exchange with each other! I was super inspired that night 🖖

Haven’t done a team choreo showcase like this in a super long time, it took a minute to reground my intentions, to remind myself that it’s not about completion and perfection. So I decided to just have fun:3

Very late post, but this is the project I put together for last year’s Voyage Showcase 😫🖖 Always thankful for the opportunity @_outerclass and @lmnlspace_ give us to showcase our artistry. Everyone was so freakin amazing, I was soooo inspired by everyone’s work.
This set is about the internal battle of imposter syndrome, moving through the stages of self-doubt, isolation, self-discovery, and acceptance.
Super grateful to my friends for bringing this set to life. Y’all are incredible, and I appreciate each and every one of you 😭🙏

Looking back, I realize this was one of the last times we got to showcase at the old @lmnlspace_ . It was such a special night in a space that has provided so much safety and support to so many artists. If you’re able, they’re still raising money for their move to a new space ❤️
