Year 4
@pow.percussion definitely came with its trials and tribulations as admittedly there were many nights where I doubted myself, stressed & cried, nearly wanted to quit but for the sake of ensemble I continue to keep at it. As at the end of the day, it’s bigger than me and it’s about serving towards the experience & growth of the members.
Huge thanks to these performers for embodying my movement, nuances, & intentions for this year’s show. Thank you for taking on the challenge and allowing me to grow with you. With the amount of choreography I had to put down, this show definitely pushed me on how to navigate my own identity within the activity, thru the worse of timelines lol.
The boys/ visual staff; Chris, Darrel, Trevor, Andrew & Anthony thank you all for your amazing instruction and help with these performers. The good vibes really helped me get thru it this year. I heavily apologize if my choreo seemed too odd or painful to clean.
To
@pow_vis especially, thank you for everything you invested into this season. In a way, you guys got dealt the worst-hand and still pushed thru taking the opportunity to throw it all down on the floor one last time. Thru all the jesting, prop logistics, and exhausting rehearsals, I’m incredibly grateful to have been apart of your dance/movement journey. Wishing you all the best onto your next endeavors!
To the community, thanks for the love on this year’s program. As degrading as the numbers may be, the warm words and love from the people are what I take in the most.
Again, to POW, thank YOU!
