2025 — Rawdacity: Battle Wrapped 🥊
🎵 RucBoi - Crashout (theme of the year for me!)
This past year, I chose to battle more. Just to see if I could grow. Here’s some of the highlights:
I battled my Big Homie & The Beast Camp — solo rounds and packouts. Many moments of having my ass handed to me 🤣 😭
Made it to Finals at UCLA OffBeat’s Greedy Island in a 2v2 against some of the best animators & hip-hop dancers in LA.
Battle Night at Nogales vs Twin Onyx - super buck
Portland I got to battle Shady — one of the buckest out there. One of my favorite battles.
Went to Toronto and battled Tiny1KNBH — the bro is the real deal. Another favorite being at the Screwface sessions!
Had a full-circle moment battling Hour — nothing but respect, that man is different!!! Another favorite battle for me cuz it meant so much esp how amazing Hour really is.
Answered callouts from Gvlly and Balisong at the @aurafarmkrump sessions. Both of them hella buck.
My intention this year was simple:
Battle more. Overcome the fears and anxiety. Grow more.
A lot of 2025 was me overcoming things quietly.
The battles were my public expressions of a private journey. Wins, losses, lessons — all of it shaped me. So thank you for those who were part of the journey whether you trained with me, supported me, gave me words of advice, and especially if you battled me this year.
Grateful for every dancer I battled with and against.
Grateful for the friends, the fam, the Big Homie, Rexx, and Solow alongside everyone else for walking with me through this growth. It really takes a village.
