Wings of Desire is a biannual festive gathering of queer folks, a place for deviant perceptions to fuse and celebrate a distinct approach to beauty. Unafraid of exploring new avenues, Wings of Desire invites transgressive minds to dream up different worlds and is an artistic response to Georgia's ongoing political and cultural crises. Tickets are available to registered and verified members of the #communal platform. This time, due to the country's current repressive system, which has significantly hindered the possibility of obtaining essential support for the festival's artistic curation, invitations will be available through symbolic donations – this is the only way to keep Wings of Desire. Tickets are also available at the door, subject to the club’s entry policy. Traumas transformed into joy, pain into pleasure, death giving birth to new life, and the celebration of the everlasting desire to love. Unafraid of exploring new avenues, Wings of Desire invites transgressive minds to dream up different worlds. WOD will be an artistic response to Georgia's ongoing political and cultural crises. The oppressive system, having passed anti-LGBTQ+ law, has long sought to silence women and queer voices through degrading campaigns. In response, we believe that everyone must rise to challenge the repressive system and fight for freedom and equality. That the energy cultivated through years of struggle, both on city streets and on the dance floor, should spark a meaningful social change and mark another step in our collective transformation. @__wingsofdesire is a queer party series with a festival-like spirit, held twice a year since its founding in 2023. ხელოვნება ყოველთვის იყო ძალა თავისუფლებისთვის ბრძოლაში. ჩვენ, მუსიკალური სივრცეების წარმომადგენლები ვთვლით, რომ პოლიტიკისა და მუსიკის ერთმანეთისგან გამიჯვნა შეუძლებელია. ჩვენი საქმიანობა ეფუძნება, ისეთ მნიშვნელოვან ღირებულებებს, როგორიცაა თავისუფლება, თანასწორობა, სოლიდარობა, მრავალფეროვნება და ინკლუზიურობა. სწორედ ამ ღირებულებებს ემსახურება თითოეული ჩვენგანი და ასეთი გარემოს შექმნას ვცდილობთ ჩვენს ქვეყანაში. გვჯერა, რომ ნებისმიერ სფეროში დამყარებულ პროფესიულ და მეგობრულ კავშირებს, თავისი წვლილი შეაქვს საქართველოს ისტორიულად მთავარი, და კონსტიტუციურად დაცული მიზნის მიღწევაში. მიზანი კი, ევროპულ ოჯახთან გაერთიანებაა. ამ მომავალს დღეს საბოტაჟს უწყობენ. რუსული კანონი, არა მხოლოდ საფრთხის ქვეშ აყენებს ჩვენი შემოქმედებითი და კულტურული ეკოსისტემის განვითარებას, არამედ ანადგურებს აქამდე მიღწეულ პროგრესს, რომელიც მოვიპოვეთ ისტორიული სირთულეების მიუხედავად. ჩვენ აქციის მონაწილეების მიმართ განხორციელებული რეპრესიების, ძალადობის, მუქარის და უსამართლობის მიუხედავად ვდგავართ ერთად, ერთხმად ვეუბნებით არას რუსულ რეჟიმს და ყველა იმ ნაბიჯს, რომელიც შეცვლის ქვეყნის დასავლურ კურსს და რუსულ ორბიტაზე დაგვაბრუნებს, ჩაახშობს განსხვავებულ აზრს და საქართველოს სრულ საერთაშორისო იზოლაციაში მოაქცევს. გამარჯვება გარდაუვალია, რადგან ეს ჩვენი ქვეყნის ყოფნა-არყოფნის საკითხია. ერთიანობას ყოველთვის მოაქვს ცვლილება—გავიმარჯვებთ სახელოვნად!
