𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙙 for @westspace 2026 Fundraiser 𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗥 & 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 ♡
𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙙 explores women’s labour as something carried across generations, held through acts of making. The words for daughter, mother, and grandmother are embroidered in Sinhala, tracing how knowledge and care continue within familial lines. These gestures are forms of embodied transmission, where language, material, and repetition carry unfolded forms of memory.
Bidding closes Thursday 5pm!

For the last few months I’ve been working on a very special project for my dear friends Ellie and Pablo. Last weekend the final piece was displayed on Ngunnawal, Walgalu, and Djimantan Country. I feel so grateful and lucky to have the opportunity to connect to Country through my art. Thank you Ellie and Pab for letting me create your alter and being apart of such a special time in your life. 🧡
