We Eatin Good x Salaam Radio present the screening of Preserving Palestine. This short documentary film, created alongside and centreing Rahaf Al Khatib of Beit Siti, was made with our beautiful We Eatin’ Good community. Exploring the preservation of olives in Palestinian culture, food sovereignty and the importance of keeping cultural food practices alive, making this film has been such a blessing, we cannot wait to share it wth you. The 15th of March will be an afternoon of film, food, and music honoring foodways that sustain resistance, memory and liberation. Screening followed by Q&A with Rahaf and Juz Makdessi (@arabassque ), food by Beit Siti and DJs curated by our dear friends at Salaam Radio. 3-4pm - music and drinks - open to all 4-5pm - screening and discussion - ticket holders 5-8pm - music, food and drinks - open to all The money from tickets to the screening, and the purchase of food, will be going to mutual aid <3.
