For the past decade, Passive Kneeling has been creating live visuals-starting out in DIY spaces with renegade projector setups and eventually evolving to perform at major festivals across Australia and internationally. He will walk you through the basics of VJ’ing in Resolume, creating clips, performing and navigating a career in live production. The workshop is beginner friendly. No experience required. These workshops focus on the social and collaborative aspect of audio-visual performance and music-making. We’re inviting folks to come and explore VJ’ing, ask questions and get started exploring the craft in a social and relaxed learning environment. BYO Laptop and download the free Resolume demo. 𝑬𝒄𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒄 𝑴𝒐𝒃 bossman 𝑫𝑱 𝑷𝑮𝒁 has been a scene staple for years now, working consciously and continually through sound while informed by culture and community.⁠ ⁠ 𝑫𝑱 𝑷𝑮𝒁 is a Gunai/Kurnai & Yorta Yorta artist who has worn a whole lot of hats over the years - currently thriving as an DJ, producer, and and radio host for Good Static on RRR where he shares his deep love for underground club sounds from around the world. He's firmly established with releases on Butter Sessions, Pure Space, Phenomena Records, and even as part of !K7 Records illustrious DJ Kicks series.⁠ ⁠ 𝑬𝒄𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒄 𝑴𝒐𝒃 is his newest creation. After their debut party at QQQ St Park, they were invited by Strawberry Fields to takeover their beach stage - a beautiful chaos soon ensued. Described by a number of punters as their highlight of the festival, 𝑬𝒄𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒄 𝑴𝒐𝒃 brought a sound is a simple and direct extension of 𝑷𝑮𝒁 vision - forward-thinking club music that is built for the dancefloor.⁠ ⁠ 𝑫𝑱 𝑷𝑮𝒁 played one of the most raucous 𝑴𝑼𝑻𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵𝑺 ever in June 2023. Since then his presence as a DJ /producer has become a thunderous force, with recent sets at Meredith Music Festival, Subsonic, Now or Never (supporting Donato Dozzy), a sick collab release with Boorloo's Yikes, and the 'best DJ of 2024' award from Music Victoria.
