With a taste steeped in her own cultural roots, Jale incorporates the sounds and rhythms from the SWANA region, keeping things both personal and political. When we talk about our Bucket List, Workhorse is always up there, soundtracking each of our lives in special and unique ways. Now the stars have finally aligned under the 𝔅𝔩𝔲𝔢 𝔐𝔬𝔬𝔫 and we can’t wait to come together and revel in the sounds of Workhorse live. Influenced by vast Australian landscapes and apocalyptic dreams, Workhorse is the western-tinged, dream-pop project of singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Harriet Fraser-Barbour.  Since the release of their debut album ‘No Photographs’ in 2022, Workhorse have been touring the country creating cinematic sonic landscapes evoking road trips across dusty plains. And naturally, we turned to the inimitable @daisypickerband 🌀 Hailing from regional VIC, Daisypicker are folk rockers based in Naarm. With the emotional depth of folk, and a sound that blends raw grunge and experimentation, they create music that’s gritty, delicate, and fuelled by feeling.
