If you know me, you know I love dogs and I’m the first volunteer to dogsit my friends’ pups every chance I get. Well, a couple weeks ago, I got my first chance to foxsit. My buddy @the_derek_whitacre asked me to stand in for him, representing his incredibly rare and even more cool foxbody at the @hotwheelsofficial Legends tour stop in El Segundo. Derek’s car is a mouthful (1982 Mustang Mclaren M81 GT Enduro DSO) but it’s not a handful like most foxbodys. With full @maximummotorsports suspension, it grips and corners like a modern sports car with power steering and AC to boot. When he first bought the car, I practically begged Derek to let me measure for and spec the wheels for this thing. I think we nailed the period look with @rotiform LHR in modern sizes (18x10/11) allowing for larger Cobra brakes and grippy rubber (275/305). As sick as it looked in my garage, I was more than happy to assist Derek in shaking the car down that Friday and Saturday as his car is probably more like mine than any other fox- dummy wide wheels, NA 347 vs 351 power and MM underpinnings. The M81 performed flawlessly in my 48 hours of custody and reignited my enthusiasm to get my car refreshed, out of @mister_zachary shop and ripping around LBC. Speaking of Zac, we managed to fit in a slick video shoot with the M81 in the Port of Long Beach the morning Derek came to pick it up. Go check that out now on Zac’s YT channel. Ya boy even makes a cameo. 😎

@allmakeswelcome is my favorite #carsandcoffee and not just because it’s right down the street from the crib. Yeah, there’s a regular abundance of vintage Porsches and Bimmers but every month there’s also a diverse cast of guest stars. It’s also a great chance to pet some dogs, catch up with the homies and enjoy the best goddamn breakfast burrito in Long Beach. 🌯 🚗 ☕️ 🐶 #AllMakesWelcome #777Style

Last week, the homie @americanmusclehd invited me, @anthonydaye and @mister_zachary to a tour of @jaylenosgarage hosted/guided by @see_dub_el_you and it was somehow much cooler and impressive than I had imagined. There was so much rad shit on the walls, on the floor and in the air, it was hard to focus and decide what deserved a deeper look. I decided to try and explore (and post) in 3 waves- 1) Document the vehicles I knew of and hoped/expected to see 2) Discover the cars & bikes I knew nothing about or didn’t recognize 3) Showcase my favorite art and design details. Here’s Part 1.

My favorite part of #loftliving is being able to create new spaces and experiences by just rearranging furniture. After another long, dreary winter in New Seattle, I decided to switch things up (for the 5th or 6th time in less than a year and a half) to get the absolute maximum amount of light and sunshine in this place. It’s been dope to see all the new and different ways light finds its way in now- directly, diffused or reflected. It was kinda nice dwelling in a cave by the fire, like a neanderthal, but this is much more my speed. #777Style

I haven’t been to one of my HS reunions but this one I’ll try to make every year from now on. @reunion.show 👌🏽
