Pretty amazing gearhead day! We grew up with @jaylenosgarage in the 90’s. But when I discovered he was obsessed with cars, he became a hero! Jay loves cars for all the right reasons IMO. He loves the backstories, the way they work, the way they make us FEEL. He doesn’t speculate on values or buy cars for clout or clicks. He drives ALL of his cars. He even has a #4thgenfbody like me! 🤩 We spent hours getting through the facility with @see_dub_el_you …I could have done another lap just looking at all the memorabilia. Happy birthday to my best friend @lianedaye . She doesn’t really do social media, so I’m really just posting this to humble brag about how insanely hot and fit my wife is. Our boys picked out dumbbells and Nikes for her presents…because she’s a strong badass coach, business woman, and mom. She’s getting better every year like the Chevelle behind her that bears her name. I’m lucky to have her.

Snow Summit Mountain Bike park with kids: Lessons Learned. -First, Tyson(9) and Dom (7) killed it their first trip. I’m VERY proud of how tough and brave they were…they got better on every run. -Watch @mtb_alan and @theoutsidermtb YouTube videos about Snow Summit . @loam_ranger_mtb has great videos about taking kids to the bike park. -“Going Green” is not steep, but it’s full of softball sized rocks. It’s not super smooth or maintained like the steeper Blue trails. This was harder for Dom because he was on a 20” bike. Tyson’s 24” wheels handled the rocks better. We’ll try to stick to Turtle and Blue Steel next trip. -We rented the boys full suspension bikes with disc brakes. This made the trip more fun, safer, and reduced their fatigue. They trusted those bikes. Especially with the rocks. $95 each for $2k bikes included all the Fox safety gear. No brainer. -The lift accommodates 2 bikes at a time. The lift attendants will put your 3rd bike on the chair behind you so you can all ride together. The attendants at the top grab it for you after you get off. -Tailgate for lunch in the parking lot. -Reserve your rentals days before because they set up each bike’s suspension for each riders specific weight. #mtb #snowsummit #snowsummitbikepark #mountainbike #ytindustries #ytcapra

#TBT to our gone-but-not-forgotten ‘73 Nova. 💛 I got it for FREE in February 2015 and quickly dumped a bunch of cash into it 🙃🤡. It had full @hotchkis suspension, new seats and carpet, and we “backdated” it to look like a 68-72. We ripped out the smog shit and 2-barrel carburetor, replaced it with a 4-barrel setup from a then-stranger @dirt_to_tacos and headers/glass-pack mufflers. 😤🇺🇸🦅. I bet it made 140 horsepower 😂. The ONLY reason I sold it was because I saw my 2002 Camaro SS on Craigslist…it was gone 2.5 days later. @jtwodoors brokered the deal! 🙏🏾 This was/is a great little car…it was the boys’ favorite because of the Ferrari Fly Yellow paint and Disney Cars decals. It was even in @roadkillshow Magazine! 🤩 I don’t regret selling it, but I would have kept it if I had more space for toys like @zuckerman and @spikeferesten … one day! 😈💪🏾

RADWOOD!!! I’m loving the evolution of the “traditional car show.” This is dangerous nostalgia for 80s/90s kids! 😬💸💸 - There’s a DJ. Attendees dress period correct and bring props. The vibe is magnificent! - 80s to early 00s vehicles are the sweet spot, especially if you want to daily drive one and/or you have a family. Compared to my muscle cars, most of these RAD cars are somewhat safe, have climate control, anti-lock breaks, and are actually reliable. They feel “classic” because they’re mostly analog, smaller, and have more mechanical feel than modern cars. This is the time period wherein cars got GOOD! 🤩 - @bob_b_jr had the ONLY full sized Bronco there. I had the ONLY 4th gen F Body. Our shit was fresh, clean, and UNFUCKWITHABLE 😤💪🏾🔥🇺🇸
