I had originally planned to have an in-person event to premiere this and some new artworks once its film festival run had finished. But life does its thing and that’s not possible at the moment, so now I get to show everyone everywhere on the world wide web my award-winning anime short film. That feels pretty cool.

Thanks again to everyone that came out for the show, everyone that bought a print or a work of art. What an incredible experience. Finally able to process it all. I would have thought I’d be a little burnt out on artmaking after the crazy push for the show, but I’m nothing but motivated to keep working on new ideas. What a great feeling.

Summary of some mural and sign work I did recently at @stonecoyotela . Transforming the bathrooms into layers of sedimentary rock and adding some simple floral motifs on top. Also painting the business signage on brick (!) while trying not to go blind from the bounce off the white paint.
Everything turned out really nice and I’m happy with it. Go see it in person and everything else they have to offer once they open soon. Great space great people!

Just completed this monster 48x68” commission for a friend and collector. Really honored to have been asked to make this as a large piece from me was considered an important part of their new home remodel. I can’t wait to see it in its final resting place. Now to pack it up and ship it off overseas. Thanks again 🙏

Random side project reusing redwood offcuts from work. All I had were these triangle shaped pieces. Always a pleasure to paint flowers in enamel like this, too.
Character test for a big new anim project. Quick ‘n’ dirty test but a step in the right direction. I’d say stay tuned for the actual project but… you might be dialing those tuning knobs for quite a while. First episode maybe late this year? 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
