@mtdelucia latest sculptural creations, commissioned by the University of Oregon Campus for the Accelerating Scientific Impact. These two sight specific artworks utilize perforated stainless steel, with hyper matte black finish to create transfixing Moiré patterns. Artist Delucia conceived of these artworks to transcend the digital visualizations into reality.
3 flights of centerline stringer stairs, in laser cut 1/4 hot rolled steel. These staircase kits fully dismantle into parts which can be hand carried into the site, due to limited access. Stairs will receive oak treads, and picket rails. Fan style tread array, brings a taste of European stair design to this residence in the Poconos.

Luminated Rhythm, in Peekskill, New York, was completed in late September in collaboration with the Hudson Valley MOCA and the City of Peekskill. It stands as both a personal and collective celebration.
Conceived as a tribute to Peekskill’s Ecuadorian community, Luminated Rhythm draws inspiration from the intricate geometric patterns of Pollera skirts, translating cultural rhythm into light, color, and form.

Currently, the piece is powered by a generator from a local Ecuadorian food truck. 😊 This unplanned yet poetic gesture resonates deeply with the artwork’s intent: to celebrate the immigrant and minority communities whose everyday contributions sustain New York’s vitality.

‘Tomorrow Today’ by @studiokca is made from sand blasted stainless steel posts shaped into an ellipse.
Echoing the ‘Archway of Ramapo College’ and the oculus within the new Learning Commons building, the shape of the piece helps pull people from different pathways toward the Learning Commons, while framing the view of the rolling hills beyond.
Made with 73 stainless steel posts, ‘Tomorrow Today’ serves as a device for tracking the passage of time through the course of the school year - both naturally using the reflected light that bounces off its surface from sunrise to sunset, and mechanically. Each post is milled and fitted with LED lamps that light up every 5th day over the course of 365 days.

Designed by a young local artist and fabricated in mixed media, corten, stainless steel and brick by 4th State. Honored to be a part of this permanent installation in Poughkeepsie.
