Over the last 14 years we have been collaborating with the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum acting as their “house doctor architect and designer” working in both the addition and existing palace on a wide range of project including facade upgrades, office renovations, public facing visitor services space upgrades, bathroom upgrades, FFE selection and exhibitions. Just recently, @tskp_ikd completed a first floor masterplan study and from that implemented a new wayfinding system that rethinks the entire public experienced upon entry and addresses issues related to their ever growing attendance. Doubly curved glulam Alaskan yellow cedar and singly curved thermally modified(by @bingaman.lumber ) Aspen structure inspired by tree roots fabricated by @unalam1892 surrounding our teaching apple tree.
